Perfect height for small children. They can easily reach and find things on their own.

The doors have soft-closing hinges which make them close softly and quietly.

Stands steady on uneven floors because the feet are adjustable.

To save on our natural resources and make use of as much of the tree as possible, we have used sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle boards for SMÅSTAD.

Easy to build, great qualityBlairWe recently bought three pieces from the "SMÅSTAD / UPPFÖRA" catalog. These pieces are absolutely a caliber above the materials received from China, no offense, we have built other furniture manufactured from this country. These products were made in Poland and the packaging alone reflects that. These were packaged very well and securely, and the parts are of higher quality. Very little cleaning was required during pre-assembly as most was shrink-wrapped. Most of the parts were particle board, but the base was noticeably heavier and had to have been real wood for overall sturdiness. The instructions definitely require average to high IQ levels as there are no words, with pictures only. I will say that they are clear and concise. These three products took the afternoon to build, but were by far easier than some of the other particle board/DIY projects we've encountered. For the money, delivery, and ease of building, I highly recommend this line-up and would buy again in the future. A++5
