In the 4 top drawers, there’s plenty of space for folded baby clothes and small things like pacifiers, bibs and socks.
In the 2 deep drawers at the bottom, you can store blankets and other larger things.
Stands evenly on an uneven floor; adjustable feet included.
To save on our natural resources and make use of as much of the tree as possible, we have used sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle boards for SMÅSTAD.
Good to know
Different wall materials require different types of hardware. The included screws are suitable for wooden materials, and the wall plugs can be used for plaster, concrete, or masonry. Follow the instructions for the wall type in your home.

Maddening Assembly ProcessJuliaI'm writing this review to warn others--while this seems like an attractive, useful piece of furniture, the process of assembling it has brought headache after headache--and I say that as someone who's very experienced in and comfortable with assembling Ikea furniture. The instructions are particularly vague, and multiple steps require a truly *absurd* amount of force to get pieces to align. My tall and broad husband's entire body weight plus the use of a heavy hammer was barely enough to do the trick. I'm glad I consulted the reviews here for instructions on rail installation order. Crazy that that's not made clear in the instruction booklet. If this were a $100 product, this would all be more forgivable, but for the cost, this is ridiculous.
Can't wait to replaceAnonymousWe purchased two of these when our second child was born so that each could have their own dresser. Quite a pain assembling two of these. It's been 2.5 years since we got them and they've held up fine, but I cannot stand how the drawers roll backward when you pull them out all the way. I'm assuming this is a safety feature to prevent tipping forward, but we've anchored ours to the wall so it's just incredibly annoying to only be able to see half of a drawer's contents when open. You can only see the rear half if you hold the drawer open.
I also do not care for the depth of the drawers. The shallow ones are too shallow to stack folded clothes so they have to be rolled, and the deep drawers are awkward to put clothes into so we use them for blankets and diapers. The very bottom drawers without rails are awkward to use and just store junk that we never need to access. Planning to sell these, sadly.
Cute but Ridiculous to buildSusanWe are still building it 3 hours in. Instructions are vague. Work from the bottom up like reviews say. Ran into several problems even before placing the drawer railings on frame insides. Husband tried to make the slim, long rectangle back slide into the grooves on the frame but he had to hit the side of the frame lightly w/ hammer damaging the cheap board then we still couldn't line up the board with grooves. We sawed off the extra. Patience is important here. Also, took strength to push in a few parts assembling each drawer (followed the model on the website 2 big drawers on bottom and 4 smalls above it plus the bottom slide in bonus drawer). Marking the drawer placement is difficult. We followed the previous comments & started on hole #2 bottom front set. From there we counted 2, 14, 26, 32, 38, ending on 44 at the top. We placed drawer railings for the bottom and the top first to make sure they fit. I would think Ikea would attach these plans for each setup.
Drawer SpacingBryanThe drawer spacing in the instructions is confusing. If you build the small drawers first and follow the instructions, you will have to take out all of your drawer slides and redo them. The instructions for the small drawers does not take into account the drawer slide spacing of the large drawers. Here is how it should be done.
Starting from the bottom, the drawer slides should be at 2, 14, 26, 32, 38, 44
This gives you the proper spacing for the large drawers on the bottom and small drawers on top
