To save on our natural resources and make use of as much of the tree as possible, we have used sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle boards for SMÅSTAD.

Different wall materials require different types of hardware. The included screws are suitable for wooden materials, and the wall plugs can be used for plaster, concrete, or masonry. Follow the instructions for the wall type in your home.

Very disappointedVitaIt’s not the first time for us purchasing from IKEA, but it’s the first when we were so disappointed with the quality of the product. We have been looking for a desk for our son and it seemed to be the best option. When we put it together the plastic inserts were missing on one of the panels. We tried to exchange for exactly the same one, but the only option was to return and buy y a new one which was almost $50 more. Then we asked for the panel replacement and they said that we might wait months to get it since they should have the spare parts in stock. So again very disappointed!!!1
