Practical storage space within close reach. You can always keep a hand on your baby.

When your child no longer uses diapers, you can lower the top shelf and use the furniture as a desk for homework or being creative.

The fixed shelf below the changing table can be attached to the right or to the left.

To save on our natural resources and make use of as much of the tree as possible, we have used sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle boards for SMÅSTAD.

Place the changing pad in the middle of the changing surface.

Cute changing tableKarinaI have used this everyday since my daughter was born. Great storage and ample space for everything a baby needs. She turns 3 this year and finally transitioning it to a desk. It has definitely met my expectations. Only thing I would change, is the lip/top does hang out a few inches more than I would like. Also it did take more than 1 hr to build and it did cause some frustration but I would still 100% recommend this.4
Terrible designRachelThis image is VERY deceiving. The top of the changing table hangs out almost 12 inches and makes the large shelf underneath useless. Imagine having to duck underneath anytime you wanted to grab something in the drawers or on on that shelf, while holding a baby or toddler during the changing process. Or even if you were using it as a desk you'd have to bend on your knees and duck under the overhang to see anything. I don't understand the thinking behind this design, as the previous reviewer said, it's dysfunctional. It's also very bulky. The top/changing table part looks like it slides in. It doesn't. Unfortunately, we wasted time assembling it, but will be returning this product ASAP.1
