Made the right choiceBrenttI was looking for a solid wood, unfinished chairs. I used Tried & True varnish oil to finish these chairs before I assembled them. They are beautiful! The placement of the back support is great. The seat is wide and very accommodating. Shorter people will not be able to reach the floor if fully in the seat. I did have to use self leveling chair glides to prevent the wobble. I did not want to sand them even and give up chair height. Assembly of the chairs was easy and the instructions were clear. Will definitely recommend to buy and I will be purchasing more.5
Beautiful But Super UncomfortableBookaI love the look of these chairs and love that they're all wood. We've actually had them for a few years now, and they've held up well, just need tightening at the bolts every now and then. BUT they are the most uncomfortable dining chairs I've ever sat in. The front edge digs into your legs. We added seat cushions, but they move, so you still end up cutting into your legs. They're great to look at and fine for quick meals, but I would not recommend if you like to have dinner parties, where people may be sitting for more extended periods.3
Farmhouse chicLem235These chairs are super chic and well-made.5
Stylish & SturdywabisabiinthelobbyJust bought two more - bought the first one a couple of years ago. Great chair! Stylish and sturdy and comfortable.5
a few flaws...Pu222This chair offers an incedible design with very affordable price tag. However, the screws keep coming off by itself. You need some wood glue to keep them in place.3
Love this collectionbean8114I bought two of these, one for each end of my skogsta table. They are beautiful. They are very sturdy. They were super easy to assemble. I seen reviews saying they were to sharp on the edges. I can totally see how that could be a problem. I do not think it will be for us, but maybe houses with little kids should avoid. You can always sand down the corners. I love these chairs though.5
wooden chairwooden chaircomfortable, small and pretty. seems to be well made5
Very steardyLorna DooneI bought this a month ago along with the 92 1/4 table for my large family it was so nice having it for Thanksgiving and we were able to sit 12 people comforatablely.5
Sturdy With Some CaveatsthegoodbarrI love these chairs but will give a few little warnings ... 1. They are very sharp on the edges and my daughter has already split her head on the corner of one. 2. I heard the screws tend to loosen over time so we used Loctite on them. I really wish someone would have sanded down the edges a bit more.4
GreatMonamiI bought this chair two weeks ago and I'm so happy for that5
Comfortable, durable and stylishLispenaI bought a set over a year ago and loved them!5
Wrong acctPerfect for the round table.5
Falls ApartL3thologicaLike another stated, I'm not crazy about the sharp edges. Thankfully I didn't sand them down yet nor stain the chair to match my table before realizing I'd be returning these chairs. The bolts that screw in under the seat bottom don't have a nut or any mechanism keeping them in place, so they very quickly loosen and fall out. By quickly, I mean I tightened them all Saturday and by Wednesday one had fallen out and another was halfway out, out of the 16 bolts in the bottom of the two chairs. Maybe I got bad chairs? But more likely it just seems like a design flaw that was overlooked. I would avoid these, or keep the receipt. Additionally, the wood bar in between the legs that adds stability doesn't fit properly for how the holes are drilled. Basically, it either fits right for the wood being flush but the pre-drilled holes are on the wrong side so it won't screw in, or you have the finished product of the wood bar looking like you got your angles backwards on the cut, but at least it attaches to the legs... Would not recommend.2
Solid and inexpensiveNew chairsEasy to assemble, very sturdy. Great hight and comfort for our table. Matches perfectly. Similar chairs to match our table were selling for $200 each online.5
Nice chairsMareclaSimple and beautiful design. Really easy to assemble.4
Nice ChairMJHVLike it but the corners are very sharp. We will have to sand it.4
Attractive chair with back support.m snowsThe simple design of this chair allows it to go with a lot of styles, and the variation in the wood color likewise coordinates with a range of wood colors. They actually also provide decent back support. I finished mine with three coats of polyurethane, which I would recommend if using in a setting with potential food spills.5

Several shades of acacia

Strong, steady, and multipurpose is one way you could describe the SKOGSTA collection. It’s made from acacia – a durable wood mostly used in outdoor furniture, finally let indoors. And instead of throwing parts of the tree trunk away as others do, we combined the lighter trunk with darker parts of the tree. The result is a blend that gives the collection a unique expression, topped with a coat of wax to preserve its natural beauty for years to come.
