Skogstra stool fits one's back poorlyDavidThe back is too short and the rim sticks out too far for an adult, as well the seat is too short. Only a child can use it comfortably. Sad!2
Thinner lacquer than skogsta chairAprilI’ve been waiting for a barstool version to come out to match our dining chairs in this same style. The finish on the barstools is not quite as thick and shiny. So the acacia is not quite as golden as the chairs and not quite as smooth feeling. A small complaint, but there should be manufacturing consistency throughout a style. Still awesome chairs.4

Choose the right bar stool height

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 34-36" from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 23-26". Tabletops or counters that measure between 39-42" from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 28-30".
