Discoloration over short amount of timeJulieI haven't even owned these for a year and the four chairs that I have are all different colors. One is beige, one is more brown, one has different shades of beige, and one looks beige and gray. I just don't understand. I loved them to begin with but they no longer match and it's driving me crazy!
Terrible Chairs that bend easily. PaulaI purchased 6 of these to go with the table and 2 chairs have bent from the back. They are dangerous and I am super grateful neither person sustained any injury. I'm going to see about returning them - they are less than a year old.
Beautiful, comfortable but chairs break!AnyaI love this chair, it's easy to assemble, comfortable and looks very nice. However, TWO of my chairs have broken after less than two months while a regular weight person was sitting on them. They both broke the exact same way: back legs buckled and the bar that allows you screw the legs to the frame broke off. I am disappointed by the poor construction. These chairs rae not safe.
Comfortable, CuteChristineThese are comfortable to sit in and cute. They are light to move around, easy to assemble and clean. The one challenge is they are showing signs of rust where the leg parts connect...so I am hoping I can clean it off. We have had them for about two months and cover them from rain most of the time.
Do the chairs stack?MarkI have a an IKEA set that I bought 9 years ago. It is all wood and starting to show its age. One of the nice things about it is that the chairs stack for storage. Do the chairs for this newer unit stack?

After 3 months, disappointmentFrankieChairs looks great! Love the color, style, and rope used. But there’s something weird in the leg design. All four of mine are now bending in the back. One just collapsed while my husband was sitting in it. None of the chairs have been used inappropriately (purposeful tilting like a school kid or something). I don’t see a good way to repair. I’m disappointed because A) I spent more than I expected to on these and B) I had a myriad of other issues with an uncommunicated back order for 60% of my purchase that took months to be refunded on.
Again- absolutely beautiful chairs. We’re going to try to fix them, but frankly there’s just a design flaw with the way the back leg set is built and/or attached.
Sturdy and looks great!CarolineI bought two of these chairs in desperation when IKEA was out of just about everything (or components of everything) for outdoor seating. I am so glad I did! I bought two chairs, the matching rug, and the beige table that goes with it. With some plants, lighting, and accessories, it made a lovely seating area on our deck With a cushion, the chairs are very comfortable. My only complaint is the price point is high for IKEA, but so far I’m happy with the quality.

Chipped paintElisabethWhat I love about these chairs is how sturdy they are, the colors are spot on, and the way they look, unfortunately the paint on the chairs chips easily, as my husband kept putting them together we start noticing areas where the paint was not longer there. I had to make a return with the first chairs due to that problem, and I was so bummed to find out the replacements had the same issue.I thought about painting them, but the polyester rope that is tide around the chair makes that impossible. Beautiful chair, but with a major flaw.
