Good to know

Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

LOVE!DanielleBought this for a greenhouse for my plants. Absolutely love it. Looks amazing. Prefer it over my Milsbo. Easy assembly. And looks perfect!!!5
Defective Build Quality on the RUDSTAAnonymous reviewerLike many other reviewers, I had to rebuild this piece multiple times because the parts didn’t align correctly. The top of mine doesn’t fit at all, and when I tried to install the glass door, the screw wouldn’t go into the hole since the top bar and the door holes were completely misaligned—even after switching the bar and double-checking that I followed the instructions. The instructions themselves are very different from IKEA’s usual “LEGO-style” guides. This cabinet really needs updated directions, because the screw holes on the metal bars aren’t shown properly step by step. One of the doors also pushes into the other because the handles came bent. At this point, I honestly think I received a defective unit. Even when I hired IKEA’s recommended TaskRabbit service, the assemblers were confused about why the item didn’t look “clean” after reassembly. Unfortunately, I feel like I built all of this for nothing—very disappointing compared to the quality I usually expect from IKEA.3
Take out ALL parts before you beginChelseaBox 1 has the second frame piece, Box 2 has the first frame piece. Why? IDEFK. Folks, I love putting together IKEA furniture, it's like grown-up LEGO. But this has been infuriating. IKEA, please put the pieces in the box in some generally logical order. I'm halfway through the build and I realize that the frames are on backward because I started with box 1. I'll update my review when I get this thing together...4
Ikea quality. You get what you pay forBenThe top glass shelf shattered unexpectedly while we were out of town. The shelf was fine before we went out of town, as it was for months, and when we returned a few days later we found the top shelf had shattered. There was very little load on the shelf and the shelf beneath it was able to withstand the combined load of the top shelf and whatever was on it before the top shelf shattered. Reached out to customer service and was told there was no warranty on this product and no ability to purchase parts for it. They suggested to find an aftermarket shelf part elsewhere. Useless feedback. No help. Garbage product.2
Great purchase!CheriePretty dang easy to assemble, and the price is just awesome! Happy with everything all around!5
Just beautiful!TisshaSo I really don't know what the big fuss is about assembling this piece. I had the first one put together in 45 mins and the second in 30. All you have to do is pay attention to the instructions. They literally draw you a picture! Anyway, I bought two of these and they will make great greenhouses for my most valued plants. I requested delivery to the front door but was charged for delivery indoors... I dont understand that part. But, shipping was on time and arrived undamaged. 5

Nice cabinet, extremely fragile shelvesVictoriaI'm just going to start off by saying we barely brushed/touched one of the glass shelves after it had been installed and had set things on it, and the glass shelf shattered. The instructions are confusing (more so than other Ikea furniture I've put together) and the pictures for installing the top piece are incorrect. It's a beautiful cabinet otherwise and looks nice with lights inside, but the fact that one of the shelves shattered has rendered it almost useless, which is extremely frustrating. 2
Tried My Every NerveSarahTook 3 attempts to build and lots of reviewing others woes to get together. Got it together and the knows don't align. Couldn't find a solution to fix so just left as is. Went into Ikea on another excursion and noticed that the floor model knows also weren't aligned :( Lesson really inspect the small details before you select a product. Really wanted 2 of these but started with one and glad I did because you couldn't pay me to build another one of these and I love Ikea products. 3
Handsome piece but VERY difficult to assembleToddI purchased two Rudsta cabinets and had a great deal of difficulty with assemble. I had to completely disassemble the piece TWICE because one or more of the components were in the wrong place or backwards. I finally had to hire someone to complete assemble. Now that they're done, I really like them. 3
Very nice shelfMatthewThis is a great shelf, instructions are very clear on how to build and it looks great in any space. Very sturdy as well!5
Beautiful piece GurpreetI needed something to place some plants and few books… this has been perfect fit for the vision I had. 5
Beautiful piece/ Pointers for future buyersSharonGreat purchase and it's beautiful! I usually don't do reviews. But I feel like I had to help the futures buyers of this product. Took my husband trail and error to get it right and even gave up at one point. I want to help YOU and save you some time! And here it is: 1. When putting together the bars of the frame, make sure to look at the pictures correctly of the front and the back. Don't want to end up redoing it. 2. the backing of the shelf, the soft rubbery part goes INSIDE for the glass to lay on top. 3. DON'T SCREW IN THE TOP TWO BACK SCREWS untill you place the top piece on. You HAVE to open the two glass doors. Put down the piece (covering the two silver screws in the front) and slide down towards the back and pop the back on. 4. If your two glass doors are messed up and uneven. Even if a leveler says it's even. Well it's not! Just play around with the nub under the legs and adjust it till the doors are perfect to your liking! I hope this review helps you! Good luck everyone!✌️4
This cabinet is great but the instructions are terrible ThomasI’ve built two of these, and both time I’ve had to disassemble and rebuild the cabinets because the first steps allow you to proceed without verifying you’ve placed the pieces in the right order! Each piece 1,2,3 and 4 can be rotated and this causes later steps to be impossible. Should be 99 dollars. 4
New Display CabinetAnonymous reviewerThis cabinet was just perfect for what was needed.5
Very pleased KyraVery easy to build and the results are beautiful. Very sleek and simple design. 5
Exactly what I wanted at the best priceTheresaSuch a beautiful piece. So simple and classy looking. My armoire was too crowded with things on it so this is a much better solution. Pay attention to all the pieces when putting them together. My husband made 1 silly mistake putting the door parts on backwards and had to start all over. 5
NiceSteve Good design 4
Faulty DianaScrew hole on the frame is stripped and couldn’t get the screw in. Ikea is over two hours from me and now I have to load it back up and take it back. 1

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
