Form over functionMimiI have used and liked Ikea dish towels for many years. Got these for a little summer color. Super cute, but perhaps the color design applied to the cotton affects the absorption quality. Seems to push water around instead of absorbing it. Perhaps a useless purchase.3

Look great, a little thin and roughJohnI love how these look. They add some zip to an otherwise dull kitchen. Be warned that they wrinkle a LOT after the first wash, but after ironing them once they didn't wrinkle after additional washes. The fabric is a little thin and rough, so don't plan on using them to soak up a lot of water. But if all you need are some colorful, inexpensive towels for drying your hands and wiping up small spills, these are perfect.4

LIVEN UP YOUR KITCHENAnneThese towels remind me of Scandinavia. The colors are so vibrant! If you're looking for an absorbent terry cloth towel, this is not it. They're more like a cheesecloth. I love them, and the price is right. Also, there was minimal shrinkage after washing/drying.5
