Excellent Lampshade BarbaraI saw a very bad review on here warning people off this product. I went ahead and got it be at it was exactly what I wanted. I'm so glad I did. It's exactly as described and as in photo. Its super easy to put together. Took just a couple minutes. It's linen over plastic. Comes in an oblong shape that becomes round when you clip in the shade to the two rings. After assembly there is a very small bump on each side that I'm sure will fall out in time since the shade is under tension. If not, it's hardly noticeable. . Excellent value.

Lampshade in a FLAT box! Never knew it was possible.SuzanneHad fun assembling this lampshade. Very easy. Had to use the old lampshade’s washer as my lamp fittings were a tad smaller. Unfortunately when the lamp is on one can see the hardware through the trim. Easily corrected by gluing additional trim over it. But the overall quality and look is quite nice. You cannot beat the price.
Not worth the moneyJudiThis is my second attempt to warn others to avoid this product. It is shipped flat and will have warped sides which are very obvious, and even more obvious when lit. The fabric is flimsy and when lit, you see seams, the frame, and the mounting hardware. Some may find the packaging ingenius, but to me it has to look right afterward. This looks like I stomped on it, tried to push it back out, then attached it the lamp anyway.

Warped sides can't be fixedAaronThis comes packed flat, without the supporting rings installed. Because it's been in the box, with bends at both ends of the box, the shade will have two sides with warped faces that won't self-correct. The staff at the store suggested some DIY solutions like using a hair dryer or steaming it with an iron. I don't think a product should require a customer "try fixing it yourself".
