Poang Ottoman Review /qualityLarryI purchased this Ottoman to use with the matching rocking chair. Review made after 3 months of use.
the Ottoman is good looking especially when paired with matching chair.
The actual size was larger than I had expected.
Well constructed but the base does not seem to be strong enough to support the weight of a person if they sat on it.
Works very well for putting feet up/elevating when sitting in a chair.
It does take up a fairly large amount of floor space . review dimensions carefully for the space you intend to use it in.
Poang Ottoman Anonymous reviewerThis is a well made and designed piece of furniture. Looks great with our other furniture and the room. I topped it the SVINDINGE faux sheep skin throw and love the look.
Perfect for usMarshaWe needed ottomans due to changinge from recliners. These are perfect, easy to assemble, very sturdy, the dog loves to sleep on and under mine. The neutral color goes with our dark brown leather furniture.
ComfortCarolynLooks really good in my room.
Wood Pieces don’t match EmilyThe wood pieces do not match and seem unfinished compared to the chair. Decided it wasn’t worth the hassle to return.
My foot restMichellI bought this item to match the rocking chair. It’s bigger than I expected but not a problem. Easy to assemble and looks chic in my home.
Still comfortableMichaelWe’ve had Poang chairs for years, one with a footstool. The chairs support a fair amount of weight, surprise, considering their light and almost airy design and construction. The footstools add a great deal of comfort. They are an excellent value. I am sorry IKEA discontinued the black leather upholstery option—we had to buy the black cloth cushion to come close to matching our existing leather upholstery. Bring back the leather!
Nice stool and great price!LauraNice stool and great price!
Easy to assemble, top is iffySusanThe footstool was easy to assemble and I love that it’s a perfect match for my poang chair. The only thing is the top is a thin luon piece of wood that looks fragile. People tend to sit on the footstool and I worry it may break, hope it doesn’t!
Perfect little foot rest.Anonymous reviewerPerfect little foot rest.
Perfect accompaniment to the chairVictorPerfect accompaniment to the chair
Goes great with the rockingJaneGoes great with the rocking chair. So comfortable.
Buy 320 grit sandpaper before assemblingSarahJust like the matching chair, it's a little ruff around the edges and needs some light sanding, but other than that it's been great and enhances the comfort of the chair. The footrest doubles as a good spot to park your butt to put your shoes on! :)
It was really niceGabrielaBut I had to return it because it was too large for my space. I should have measured the space before buying it.
Love this Chair!!!AziaThis was supposed to be my reading nook chair and ottoman. My husband and kids took it over. Its in their game room. I had to buy another one. We love this chair.
My son loves it, helpsBettyMy son loves it, helps to elevate his legs to ease the pain from sitting too long
OttomanJacquelineGot this to compliment my Mom's poang chair. Great addition.
Love itAnonymous reviewerPoang ottoman is so comfortable with my Poang chair both are just the right height for comfort.
Poang is a bang for your bucks!VantrangWell made, easy to assemble and versatile. Perfect for my 1st apt. I use it as a foot rest, extra seating and even a laptop table! Very nice and stylish! I’d definitely recommend to a friend!!
VERY comfy! - LOVE it!MarilynWe just moved to Sacramento from New Jersey - most of our furniture from NJ was either sold or donated. Several pieces were also from IKEA. They were old - I would say almost 20 years old, so we needed a few new pieces here - we bought the IKEA POANG rocking chair, and then decided we wanted the ottoman, too. LOVE the clean-cut lines and open, airy design.
