Poang Ottoman Review /qualityLarryI purchased this Ottoman to use with the matching rocking chair. Review made after 3 months of use.
the Ottoman is good looking especially when paired with matching chair.
The actual size was larger than I had expected.
Well constructed but the base does not seem to be strong enough to support the weight of a person if they sat on it.
Works very well for putting feet up/elevating when sitting in a chair.
It does take up a fairly large amount of floor space . review dimensions carefully for the space you intend to use it in.4
footstoolLeslieThis footstool looks great and fits well with our sofa. It was difficult to assemble though. My husband who is an engineer had to modify it to put it together. A non-handy person would have trouble with that.4
Poang ottomanClaryWe had a similar ottoman that went with a chair we had. This one is bigger. The finish is coarse. I plan to sand it down and give it a warmer, smoother finish.
The cushion is thin and flimsy. It's already breaking down in the center and we've only had it a month. I'll be adding more foam or upholstery grade polyester batting to the cushion so it'll hold up better.
Also, no sliders on the bottom of the legs, so the paint rubs off on the floor.
All that said, my husband loves it!3
Excellent companion or stand alonePattiBought this after I bought the matching poang chair. It is great to rest my feet or can be used as additional seating in my modest living room.5
DefectiveCarolTop platform does not fit between legs. Also the screws don't go all the way in. We stopped because we didn't want to force anything into place. Not the usual good quality and easy to assemble furniture that we're used to getting from IKEA.1
Poang Ottoman Anonymous reviewerThis is a well made and designed piece of furniture. Looks great with our other furniture and the room. I topped it the SVINDINGE faux sheep skin throw and love the look.4
Perfect matchDeniseThis foot stool is a perfect match to my two Poang chairs. A little larger than I thought it would be, but dimensions stated are accurate.5

Great Way to RelaxLauriePut your feet up while you are sitting in your chair reading a book or watching TV. It's super relaxing! Really easy to clean and adds a fresh essence to your living room.4
Perfect for usMarshaWe needed ottomans due to changinge from recliners. These are perfect, easy to assemble, very sturdy, the dog loves to sleep on and under mine. The neutral color goes with our dark brown leather furniture. 5
ComfortCarolynLooks really good in my room.5
Goes well with chairPaulThe Poang, chair and footstool go well together, it has become one of the most comfortable places to sit in our apartment! 5
Wood Pieces don’t match EmilyThe wood pieces do not match and seem unfinished compared to the chair. Decided it wasn’t worth the hassle to return. 3
Great stool. Great price.BeatrixWaited for this product to return to match the chair. Easy to put together. 5

My foot restMichellI bought this item to match the rocking chair. It’s bigger than I expected but not a problem. Easy to assemble and looks chic in my home.5
Still comfortableMichaelWe’ve had Poang chairs for years, one with a footstool. The chairs support a fair amount of weight, surprise, considering their light and almost airy design and construction. The footstools add a great deal of comfort. They are an excellent value. I am sorry IKEA discontinued the black leather upholstery option—we had to buy the black cloth cushion to come close to matching our existing leather upholstery. Bring back the leather!4
Nice stool and great price!LauraNice stool and great price!5
Easy to assemble, top is iffySusanThe footstool was easy to assemble and I love that it’s a perfect match for my poang chair. The only thing is the top is a thin luon piece of wood that looks fragile. People tend to sit on the footstool and I worry it may break, hope it doesn’t!4
Overall fairly easy to assemble.GretchenOverall fairly easy to assemble. Don't think its strong enough to use as an extra seat, but works good for a foot rest.4
