With this matching footstool you sit even more comfortably in the POÄNG armchair.

The frame is made of layer-glued bentwood which is a very strong and durable material.

This cushion is made of the dope-dyed Gunnared fabric in polyester, a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned mélange effect.

The tufted design of the cushion gives your footstool an elegant character and ensures that it retains its plushness and softness without you needing to fix the cushion.

A range of various seat cushions makes it easy to change the look of your POÄNG and prolong the lifetime of the footstool so you can enjoy it for many years to come.

Still comfortableMichaelWe’ve had Poang chairs for years, one with a footstool. The chairs support a fair amount of weight, surprise, considering their light and almost airy design and construction. The footstools add a great deal of comfort. They are an excellent value. I am sorry IKEA discontinued the black leather upholstery option—we had to buy the black cloth cushion to come close to matching our existing leather upholstery. Bring back the leather!4

Easy to assemble, top is iffySusanThe footstool was easy to assemble and I love that it’s a perfect match for my poang chair. The only thing is the top is a thin luon piece of wood that looks fragile. People tend to sit on the footstool and I worry it may break, hope it doesn’t!4

Buy 320 grit sandpaper before assemblingSarahJust like the matching chair, it's a little ruff around the edges and needs some light sanding, but other than that it's been great and enhances the comfort of the chair. The footrest doubles as a good spot to park your butt to put your shoes on! :)4
