These have changed. Lower quality and more plastic in packaging.Lindsey L.I’ve been buying these batteries for years and never had an issue with performance. I just stocked up again and the new batteries seem to only last maybe around half as long, I use these constantly for fairy light strings and the reduction in amount of time the lights stay bright is super noticeable. Also the packaging seems to have changed since last time I bought these, and now includes more plastic. Each individual battery is encased in a layer of plastic around both sides and I can only get them out if I cut into the plastic. Bummer to have to get out a pair of scissors and hack into a ridiculous amount of plastic every time I need to access a battery. To add insult to injury, the price has also increased.2
