Designer thoughts
Designer thoughts
"With the textiles and objects in the OMMJÄNGE collection, I want to break stereotypes and show that folk art can be both inspiring and exciting. An image of the 1800s bride named Kunigunda was my starting point, my canvas on which I painted a new story with intricate patterns in vibrant colors to evoke curiosity and integrate history into contemporary design. I hope that people embrace the historical connection and appreciate the roots of our Swedish heritage."
