Excellent cat bedLeahI initially bought this for its intended purpose, as a laptop support. However, my cats have since claimed it and love to sleep on the cushion part of the product. Laptop needs to be more secureJasonI echo the comments in the other review. The surface is slippery and if you move the lap desk, the laptop might move out of place (my laptop does have rubber feet and does not move on a traditional surface). If the surface was different and there was raised edge at the end to keep the laptop in place it would be much better.3
really useful, but has one flawElizabethI really like this. It was something I didn't really think I needed before I got it, but I feel a difference in my back and neck already. The only issue is that there are no design features to keep my laptop on it if it's not totally flat. It's gotten to the point that we jokingly call it "the laptop cannon" because it's slid off so many times. That's the only reason I would consider a different lap desk.4
