sleek fixture but photos are deceivingAnonymous reviewerIn addition to the two round 3/4" thick plates shown in the photos, this fixture also has a larger flat white plate with holes that is sized to cover up the junction box. It looks like an unfinished afterthought to an otherwise fantastic looking fixture. I was disappointed but I had 4 of them installed so will be leaving them up for now. I might try modifying with an aftermarket white canopy.

great fixtureRichardEfficient design, very good looking, Thoughtful design - it is easily installed and adjustable enough to aim the beam where it needs to be, utilizing the swivel ring. Love the understated simple hinged tube design and look. This enables my art to be the focus - not the fixture. Also, the removeable barrel ring that facilitates bulb installation a good touch. Overall quality is good, durable.
One improvement recommendation: change the ring that attaches to the electrical box to make it more adaptable to varying size electrical boxes. I installed mine in an old home with smaller electrical boxes - the installation holes did not line up.
Perfect light, difficult to installSophiaThis light looks great and upscale despite its low price point. It was the only single spot light I could find that accommodates my longer than standard Philips Hue GU10 bulbs.
Fitting the light was made ridiculously difficult because of the design of the mounting plate. With only 2 small holes, there’s no option for adjustment. The holes didn’t line up exactly with our ceiling electrical box, so we had to use a mounting bracket. But adding the mounting bracket and screws meant we couldn’t fit the light flush with the ceiling because the light mounting plate is a flat piece of metal, not a cover. We also couldn’t fit cap nuts to the mounting bracket screws because the mounting plate holes are too close to the light body. We spent the whole day trying various thing to make it work. Eventually we hacked the light by turning the mounting plate into a cover using a yogurt pot lid.
If this sounds complicated, time consuming and a total pain, it was! Good news is, my marriage survived ... just!
Photos not accurateAnonymous reviewerI bought several spotlights to replace old recessed lights. Unfortunately the product for US market is not as advertised/shown in photos. There is an additional flat plate, attached to the top of the lamp, that you mount onto the electrical box with two screws. The plate is about 1.5 inch wider than the base (top part) of the lamp, and both plate and screws stay visible. It's definitely not a clean look shown on pictures. You can find more info/drawings hidden in the product details tab under assembly and documents. I'm very disappointed.
