looks great, but drawers fall apartSamLet me just say I LOVE Ikea furniture USUALLY ** and have had many pieces for years without problems. However, the joints that attach the face of the drawers go loose after about a year and become so annoying because they practically fall off every time I try to open them :( very sad2

Queen is bigger than mattressVictoriaThe bed is 63 inches and the mattress 60, so it doesn’t look at all like the picture. I can put a water bottle on the edge, that’s how big it is. And I bought two, one for each daughter. They hate it. I want to return them but I already assembled them. The picture is misleading, the mattress doesn’t fit like that, this is very wrong. It wasn’t fun to put them together. 2
Poor Design - No Recourse - Very DisappointedPriyankaWe purchased the 'King Size' version of this bedframe a little over a year ago, going by all the amazing reviews. Only after using it for a few months, we realized it has a major design flaw in the King size version. There is a hollow cavity in the centre under the slats which is where our weight falls. This has led to a deep sag in the centre of the mattress. When we took this issue to the store, none of the IKEA staff were able to help us with any solutions. In fact we were constantly only told this is a popular product and that our issue was surprising to them! We tried asking if we could by additional supports to rectify the situation - they have nothing like that plus no warranty claim options too. So we are left now with a 2000 dollar purchase, severe backache and no recourse! Very disappointed!1

Lots of storage, attractive, excellent qualityEvaGreat quality, solid and heavy--assemble in place, excellent pull-out drawers; buy the headboard (which is attached to the wall) so all 6 drawers are accessible and nightstands won't block the drawers at the head of the bed. Best IKEA bed.5
Love this bed, but...NeelI love this bed but I'm fairly certain it formed mold. If you search on google/reddit for Nordli+mold you'll see there are several others who mention this including on this IKEA forum. 1
AVOIDZachIKEA doesn’t sell the drawers individually. One of my drawers was damaged in a recent move. Now I have to either drive hundreds of miles to hope a store has a spare part, or I can buy a new one. Wish I never would have bought it. What a pain.1
Almost perfect bedGinaWe have king and the queen nordli beds- the only fault I can find is that the king fits that mattress much better than the queen which is big for the mattress. 4

Fantastic! SabrinaWe purchased this bed frame 3 years ago and still love it to this day! We did pay for assembly so can't speak on that much but it took 1 person about an hour to complete.
It looks clean, beautiful and is so functional - We love the 6 storage drawers and the sturdiness of the frame. I am a plus size person and it is solid!
The side tables/trays are a wonderful addition and we purchased 2 clip on lamps to add to the top of the headboards.
If you're on the fence, don't be, order the bed!! 5
Very disappointed, could have been great AndreaAfter I spent an additional hour+ at the store as the manager was verifying that I had the right product (i guess something was wrong with the article number), I went home and spent just over 6 hours assembling this (by myself, it probably would have taken less time with another person) and the frame is 140cm when it’s supposed to be 160cm and my mattress is hanging over the ledge. I can’t keep this, it will ruin my mattress. This is ridiculous, I’m SO disappointed.1
Mold on drawersKatherineI've been noticing more and more the drawers in this bed have mold on the sides. I've had this bed for 3 years, I didn't know what it was but I've been wiping the drawers down periodically but it just occurred to me, this is mold! None of the other furniture in my house has mold, just this bed. I'm certain that the mdf the drawers are made out of had some kind of spores and we're not properly treated. Lately I've been sneezing and coughing and yesterday I wiped down all the drawers and had a sneezing and coughing fit. I'm violently allergic to mold, so I will probably need to throw this bed out, which is a bummer because it works so well in my room and has helped me tame my extensive wardrobe, I don't have a lot of closet space in my room so this solved my problem. Almost $500 out the window on this bed. Dangit!1

GREAT STORAGE. GOOD LOOKING. ASSEMBLY WAS EASY MOST OF THE TIME.MattPurchased the queen-sized bed frame. It took less than 2 hours to assemble; step 20 was the hardest part (there's a special place in Hades for the person who decided to put 4 screws at the end of the support boards right next to support pieces). Not sure why the bed frame is about 3 inches wider than a queen-sized mattress, all of the pictures on the website show the mattress as the same width of the bed frame.
Storage drawers seem very roomy, and there is still storage space under the mattress in between the closed drawers.4

Solid Price, Solid PieceEmily42 F, solo assembler: it took me 6 hours, but it would have been more like 4.5/5 if I hadn't made mistakes (the picture instructions were a bit unclear in a couple spots), and even less time if I used a drill. It's for my 12 year old son. It's a solid piece, and the price was great, too. I'm very happy with the final result. It doesn't feel flimsy at all, and I think it'll last a really long time.5
Great Platform BedJamesThis thing was easy to set up and we already had the king headboard that goes with it. The storage is nice and if you want to put other stuff away put it under the mattress in the center.5
