Requires Ikea hubWeiEven though this is a Matter device, it would not pair with my Homekit system/Matter hub. In the manual, it is specifically designed to use Ikea's hub.1
Wouldn't stay connectedTomI purchased three of these motion detectors. Started with one on my patio that was connected to my Harmony Pro that was about 20 feet from the sensor. It went on and off line 5 minutes to 45 minutes all day and most of the night. Next day, it was unavailable so I had to re-scan it back into Homey Pro. I put a matter over thread router plug about 6 feet from the sensor to improve the matter over thread mesh network but it still wouldn't stay connected more than 45 minutes. Brought it inside about 15 feet line of site from the Harmony Pro and it still kept going on an off line. I'll be returning all three.1
