You will need 2 STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip (5'5"x7'9") for this rug. Trim if necessary.

This rug fits with a 2-3 seat sofa, but can also fit other size sofas depending on how you place it.

This rug fits under a 6-seat dining table, but can of course be used how and where you like in your home.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The rug is machine-woven.

Rugs with structure or hard edges can cause marks on soft wooden floors even when used together with an anti-slip underlay.

To flatten your rolled rug after you unpack it, roll it tightly in the opposite direction.

Care

Cleaning: Use a mild detergent, brush with a soft brush and rinse thoroughly with water. Let the rug dry completely before use.

Hand wash warm water.

Do not bleach.

Do not tumble dry.

Do not iron.

Do not dry clean.

Vacuum and rotate the rug regularly.

Professional carpet cleaning when needed.

Always use the standard floorhead, never the rotating brush, when vaccuming the rug.

To make the rug last longer, store it inside when not in use.

When the rug is placed indoors, use STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip for increased safety and comfort; to be placed under the entire rug.This product has been tested for domestic use.

Edges curl up and is a tripping hazardOliviaI usually love all of my Ikea purchases, unfortunately this rug is not very good for outdoor spaces. I put it on a covered porch and the edges are curling up on every side, despite trying to weigh them down, which makes it a tripping hazard. I had this delivered and do not live near a store, so I'm not able to take it back to return it, but wanted to at least warn others. I would not purchase this again for an outdoor area. It may work just fine as an inside rug.2
Won’t lay flat on edges 🫤ConnieI have been buying these rugs since they came out. I replace when worn at about 2 years. The quality/manufacturing has changed and no matter what we do or how long we weight them down, they NEVER lay flat on the long sides. Sad because they are so perfect on my well used front porch. No better rugBarbaraI have used this rug inside and out and washed it on the driveway when needed. It is wash and wear for sure. It is the best I have three in my busy house with four dogs. It may snag if you have a cat using it for a scratching post but any short pile will do the same. I like the basket weave style too. I hope IKEA always keeps this one on stock. Color is a heart neutral and it does not slip. I thought pricey but for the utility it is a good buy.5
