The heat is highest at the bottom, and the sloping sides make the food drop down. Constantly stir the food for a crisp result.

Don't buy this unless you only plan to use it for 3 monthsChunxiaoThe nonstick coating failed in 3 months. The pot is light, and there's nothing wrong with the handle or the stainless steel parts. But the coating failed way too fast. It seems to be a common issue with all "ceramic nonstick coating". The super expensive "green pan" I had also become sticky after 1-2 years. 1

Inconsistent descriptions.YanyuUsed the wok twice, and it worked fine so far. However, I noticed the small descriptions on the back of the package says the wok contains PFASs but the descriptions on the website claims it doesn't. I think you should avoid this product if you are looking for a non-PFAS wok.3
I love the size and weight!MariaI've been looking for a smaller wok that would allow me to use it more frequently since I have carpal tunnel syndrome and lifting heavy and bit woks is very painful. I was pleasantly surprised to find this wok at IKEA and have was more pleased when I used it and found that I could manage the cooking even with the weight of the food! PFAS alert! conflicting description on website and on product packageSofiaI purchased this yesterday based on the website description that "This product has a non-stick coating where no PTFE or other PFAS have been allowed". However the actual cardboard packaging on the wok states that it does contain PFAS. I had read in a press release that this *specific* line of products would be PFAS-free, and instead made with a sol-gel ceramic nonstick coating. This is the exact reason I sought to purchase it. The packaging information directly conflicts with the website description. Which is correct? Does it contain PFAS or not? Is this safe to use or not?1

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colors, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
