Does not come with bed slats and hard to put together because pieces will not fit. I’ve yet to figure out how come this product has so much high ratings because from my experience it’s not worth the price.1

Storage problemStephenWe have two of these, the bed is sturdy and looks nice. The problem with the drawers, and probably most of the other ikea drawer beds is that under the bed - the drawers are open to the air and the underside of the mattress and quickly fill with dust. The drawers don't fit into a closed/sealed area like most all chest of drawers. The drawers are pretty much unusable unless you put the items in another container inside the drawers.2

The Noisiest Bed EverAzraWe bought ours last December to upgrade our tween room. This bed looks great, but the amount of scraping and screeching wood noise is unbearable. We just bought more expensive bed base hoping to alleviate very loud noise but nothing changed.
Any amount of movement on this bed produces very loud noise.
After almost 6 months of suffering, we are getting ready to dissemble this bed and return it.
It is a shame. But it is very poorly designed. Be very careful.1

Quality of bed frame is extremely disappointingAnonymous reviewerWe recently purchased the bed. It was super easy to put together. After putting the slated bed frame base and then the bed, we could not help notice how loud a creaky the base is. We purchased the Luroy frame. Is there any way to fix this? I fear that we now have to go to the mattress store to buy a box spring. Our other son has the same bed in full and had no issues with the frame. Really disappointing.1
