I went to therapy because of thisMathysI've been hitting the gym for the past 5 years of my life so that I could turn the screws 80% of the way and then have them strip. This is the first time I have ever had an Allen headed screw strip on the first pass. Don't forget to note that this product's black and white manual does indeed require you to pay attention to which slats are black and which are white. If I was building this with a partner, I know for a fact we would have broken up over this. Only buy this if your masochism trumps the physical and mental pain this will inflict upon you
Two stripped screws and a massive headacheKI used this with the stjarno queen bed. Like the title says, I had two allen screw heads strip on me during assembly, didnt think much of it, I had them in at least 90% of the way, the structure of the slats was solid, I wasn't going to sweat it. However when I went to put the two lonsets together in the frame of the bed, that maybe eighth of an inch COMBINED between the two stripped screws (one on each side of the bed) sticking out was enough to stop them from fitting in the bed frame entirely. I ended up having to use a wrench and rubber band to sink one in fully and a pair of pliers to rip the other one out it was so beyond being usable. Also, the allen key they give you to essentially flat drive into wood is smaller than the one they gave me to put together a monitor stand with pre-drilled holes? I had to grab my dads thick work gloves in order to keep driving the screws in and not to wreck my hands. Do not buy this.
Wish I could give this product 0 starsErinPlease do not buy this product! This product takes FOREVER to put together and is unnecessarily complicated. I paid an extra $140 for this stupid thing when I should have just bought the $60 regular bed slats. I have put together many IKEA products in the past and have never had this horrible of an experience. They also fit oddly in the Malm bed frame I purchased. Mind you when I bought the Malm bed frame these were “recommended” to go with the frame. These are a complete scam. I will be disassembling and returning.
Unnecessarily complicated assembly ElizabethCan't speak to the performance yet, but the assemble of this was a nightmare. This was unnecessarily complicated and tedious and takes forever. It would be worth $100 more for something that takes 3 less hours to assemble.
The worst assembly, but stable I guessKellerThe assembly of this item is like being sent to ikea hell. Threading each slat into both of the belts and then into the assembled cups like the instructions say is a horrible option. Doing it this way took my partner and I over an hour of suffering. The little Allen wrench that is included will also tear up your hands due to the force you have to turn the wood screws at. The only pro of this frame is that it is incredibly sturdy after assembly (as far as I can tell).
Great product but why not list the dimensions Anonymous reviewerI know king and queen are king and queen and all but it would still help to know the exact dimensions of the two “half” lonsets that make up the king and queen.
FlimsyNodarafter 1,5 month of using it, I cat tell it is flimsy, started creaking on my side. And I am 165 pounds. I would not recommend this product to heavy people. Better consider the bed slats with a metal frame.
Sleeping on a hillKeithAssembly was difficult, but my main issue is that once in place it tilts the mattress to the left. I feels like I'm sleeping on a hillside or a mound. Everything seems fitted correctly, so it seems like a product issue instead of assembly.
Not as stable as I thinkJiaxiI expected this product to be more stable, but unfortunately it feels quite flimsy. The frame doesn’t offer the level of support I hoped for, and overall it doesn’t seem worth the price. Assembly was fine, but the quality just doesn’t match the cost. A bit disappointing.

Pros---
1. It is definitely a better choice than Leroy (or however you spell the cheapest option of base). It is sturdy and has two straps that keep the slats in place.
2. The previous bed I used had Leroy and I would be scared of it coming out from one end. Lonset is more stable
Cons---
1. Takes a while to build and it is not immediately obvious what is the best way to push the slats in. Having two people definitely helps.
Made our mattress betterDevonWe had a mattress with a box spring but had to get rid of the large bed we had so we got the Stjarno and the Lonset slats. We were worried about set up as we heard it can take a long time to put the slates together, but if follow the directions (don't tighten!) and if there are two of you, you can do an assembly line and it goes super fast. Our mattress actually feels more supportive in the right places with these slats.
JunkJustinPaid extra money for these and they stink! I’m a bigger person and the plastic on the side is smashed down. The slats are flatten causing the mattress to sag. When I called customer service it was over their return period. I would not recommend these to anyone…

Incredibly difficult assemblyPhoebeI can’t say yet whether this is comfortable, as it took us about 2 hours to build just one half of the slats for our king bed. The screws and middle wood beams are HORRIFIC quality. Fitting the slats into place takes forever, and requires the screws be just loose enough that you can stretch the slats or otherwise the whole thing falls apart. I actually can’t believe this is an item being sold.
Best frame for the moneyBorisI love this frame. I had it on a full bed, and picked this one for the queen bed. The pre-positioned colors make it easier to put it together properly, and I like the zones providing different levels of support.
Overall, it's a great frame and well worth its money.
Difficult to assemble, top and bottom has no slatsJoyMy poor fingers! Assembled this alone and I'm very weak due to long covid. Had lots of difficulty getting the slats into the second vertical piece and then screwing that piece down because the holes were a bit crooked. Hand/fingers nearly became numb. Need a tool handle; I ended up using the handle from the bed which helped significantly (doesn't fit the normal way but I turned the handle upside down to put it on the tool). Took much longer to assemble than bed (Tallasen); less than 2hrs but it's slats... One thing that bothers me is the first and last slat is quite a distance from the edge. That means the top and bottom of the bed lengthwise sages as there's no support.

The Mattress finally stays in place!AngelitoWe ordered this because our mattress kept slipping off the old slats. It took a hot minute to assemble, but the mattress no longer caused the slats to come off. It's worth the purchase.
