Difficult to hang straightIanThe mirror itself is nice but the hanging system on the back is terrible (also the mirror does not come with any type of screws/anchors to attach to the wall). The hangers on the back of the mirror are angled with teeth. The fact that they’re angled makes it very difficult to get the mirror to sit on the same exact teeth on both sides. And if they sit on different teeth then the mirror will be askew. I measured the mirror and used a level before I drilled my wall anchors and the only way I could get the mirror to hang straight was to bend one of the hangers on the back of the mirror. 3

What is mirror glass?

Mirror glass is made of mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.
