A 3-legged stool will never wobble, even if the floor surface is uneven, because all 3 legs rest upon the surface where it stands.

Great Coffee Table OptionNealI needed a quick (and inexpensive) coffee table option. I paired 2 Kyrre stools with a Forlunda pouffe. The stools were easy to assemble and are very sturdy. falls overSusanbought 3 of these 'useless' stools....if any of my cats would jump on one, it would fall over and if you don't sit on it where you are directly under one leg, again, falls over! very dangerous and idiotic design! Primary functionMIt's marketed as a stool but I don't see any pictures of a person sitting on one. I'm a small person with a well padded backend and it is OK as a stool but I haven't tried to sit on it for a great length of time. Like most people, I use it as an end table or to prop my feet up.4

A new life for a trusted friend

In earlier days, the 3-legged stool was an essential tool used by farmers when milking their cattle as it would not wobble on uneven ground and provided stability to the milker. In 2004, IKEA’s founder Ingvar Kamprad designed a 3-legged stool, inspired by his first job, milking cows on the family farm. In 2019, we introduced an updated version of the traditional “milking stool". KYRRE stool with a light and modern expression, comes in handy – not for milking, but for guests.
