Nice extra seating or side tableKaraThis is a sturdy and elegant piece with multiple uses. I mostly use it as a side table, but it works as extra seating as well.
Legs scratched out of the boxLeviThe orange legs had deep scratches--all the way down to the bare metal-- right on the top curve, so it's quite visible. There are also some mild scratches further down the legs.
IKEA is a long drive for me, so it's frustrating to get this home, put it together, then find that it's damaged. There's also a black rub mark on the wood disc which makes me wonder if this whole item was already used and returned.
broke immediatelyKatherineI bought two of these (one orange) and they are so cute, but the top of the lilac one split in half the first time it was used. Not as sturdy as I'd hoped, and I don't think there's any way for me to order a replacement seat (the nearest Ikea is 2 hours away so I can't simply go to the store).

Solid and sturdyOilanA bit hard to put together, 3rd screw hard to line up, use some force to line up. Very solid chair when sitting, does not wobble at all.

Stable once assembled, but poor hole alignment PhilipReally like Ikea products, and have assembled any number of projects, this was the first one that was disappointing….the holes in the legs did not align with the imbedded screw nuts….and required drilling out the leg holes to match. Very disappointing.
DOMSTEN Stools make great plant stands!!!JulieI have the orange and the green stools to give pops of color to my small living room. Both are used as plant stands and are perfect. If I need them for seating, I can put the plant on the floor. Easy to put together and no tools were needed. Very mod and cute! Love these stools.

Comfortable (adequate seat circumference), stylish, and practical (stacks).StacieI used the stools for Thanksgiving dinner (my spouse, my goddaughter, and me); they were comfortable, the seating area was more than sufficient, they looked great alongside my mid century teak dining room set, and they take up little space as they stack easily. I highly recommend these stools and Jonesing big time for a few with the green base.

Looks and feels great, QC missKyleOf the two I picked up, one had two screws not fit and the other one screw not fit (misaligned hole / leg). Does not seem due to any damage to the item. QC needs to be improved. Still feels solid and stable though. Just not confident.
So cute except...DilsahThis side table is so cute and easy to install!! However, the wood top did arrive heavily damaged with lots of scratches and discoloration so beware of that issue :(
