Lovely accent lightYvetteI've always really liked this Knubbig accent light, and now that I got it, I'm very pleased with it!! I bypassed the recommendation to use chandelier bulbs and used round ones instead, which are easier to use for this lamp, and I got incandescent since they don't cause cancer like LED and fluorescent. And, wow, the lamp with incandescent light is just gorgeous!! It has such a cheerful vibe! I also like that the edges of the glass on the top and bottom are rounded with a rolled rim, instead of just being cut glass. I know this is just an accent light, but it's bright enough that it can be used similarly to overhead lighting.
Beautiful, gorgeous accent light, though, which I thoroughly love, and I'm glad IKEA still stocks it.

I've reviewed this before as well....KSeems like when I reviews anything UNDER 5 stars Ikea withholds my review. Interesting. Simply put. This lamp is hot, takes a weird g9 halogen bulb that I couldnt find except for Amazon (IKEA is 2 hours from me), the light it WAY too bright, and has warning about in CA the lamp is cancerous, and may be flammable. It's a bad built, butch bodied lamp

Hard to find a light bulb forMariyaIt's a great little lamp, really cute and lasts a long time (I've had mine for over 5 years and it still works great). However, it's very hard to find a light bulb that'll fit since the bulb needs to be very short. I keep buying different light bulbs hoping that they'll fit but most are too long. I'm gonna have to take the lamp with me to the store next time and try all the bulbs out in person.

beautiful but possibly fragileSkyeThis is a beautiful lamp, and I'm here ordering a second one. It provides quite a bit of light with a 450 lumen bulb without being glaring. My only concern is that it feels a bit fragile, and seems like it wouldn't survive a fall onto a tile or cement floor. That combined with the lack of grip on the bottom makes it best suited to locations without a lot of child or pet activity, or in areas with carpet.

A Return of this beautiful treasure BarbaraLove this light. Had one many years ago and it broke. The only replacement was at a friends house, which she was keeping her eyes on VERY CLOSELY. So Happy IKEA brought it back. This time I bought two.
Pretty LampSarahThis is such a pretty lamp and it looks so nice when lit, but I just wish it had some rubber or some sort of non-slip something on the bottom because I am worried it will fall off the table. Other than this, great lamp, pretty design, and a good size.

Material
What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
