Great valueHazelI purchased one each for my sons. Easy to use, easy to wipe clean and easy to stow away. Does the job and good for the price. It sits high but they prefer that. That would be my only warning for those who want more of a lap tray - this sits higher up.

Instructions glued on productKaiIt's absolutely ridiculous that the instructions (which isn't even necessary) came glued on the bottom of the tray. It was impossible to peel it off and it took longer to remove the label and adhesive than it takes to actually put together some furniture. And given the amount of goo gone needed to remove the adhesive the bottom of the tray was left with a huge dulled section.
Short livedBiancaI had over the years three of these trays, they are great for doing work, everything stays on the tray thanks to the rim. Unfortunately the leg connections always break sooner or later and what’s left is a useless chunk of plastic.
My second purchase of this oneRebeccaI first bought this bed tray after seeing a friend use it and highly recommending it. Now I’m on my second one, and I still absolutely love it. It’s sturdy, practical, and perfect for things like having breakfast in bed. Such a reliable, well‑designed piece that I keep coming back to.
Fragile- easily break. Subpar qualityErumI am a big fan of IKEA products, but this one is very disappointing. Initially we ordered 2, one was broken after second time use. I have reordered the replacement, that arrived broken at the same spot. IKEA was nice enough to replace the broken product. Now after 3-4 times use, I am stuck with the cost of three broken trays. Design is amazing but the quality is subpar.

I’ve been an IKEA fan for years, most of my house furniture is from here and the quality has gone WAY DOWN and the prices WAY UP. $15 each for plastic garbage. IKEA will never be what it was.
very flimsyHwayoungI bought a white bed tray from IKEA, but it broke twice. First, the support holding the legs when folded snapped. Then, my 4-year-old son accidentally broke a leg while trying to set it up—it came off way too easily. The design feels flimsy and poorly made. I replaced it with a black one at my son’s request, but it also broke; the legs came loose and snapped again. It’s usable if you’re careful, but it’s unreliable. I’m planning to buy a wooden tray next, which is $20 more expensive than the plastic ones, hoping it’s sturdier and won’t break like these.
Terrible product AdmoreThis product is easily one of the worst items I purchased at IKEA. The tabs broke less than 2 to 3 weeks. The surface easily scratch. IKEA customer service even with the low quality product would not accept a return after about 2 to 3 weeks. Do not buy this item.

Great til it’s not NatashaI bought one, and it broke. returned and got another and this one has now broke also. both times one of the parts for the legs folding out has sheered off despite me being gentle to open and close it.
Decent purchase CollinGets the job done for a comfortable dinner in bed. Or using it for a laptop while studying/watching movies. But why is the tray so difficult to collapse? You have to pull very hard to fold it. Other than that and being $3 more expensive than the competition, it's a good product. Especially when you cannot consider spending more than $15 for something like this.

NOPENicolleThe tray was super high for my elderly pt in bed. Needed to be 2-3 inches lower. I decided to keep it for myself but when closing it, a piece snapped off. It was the piece in back that keeps the legs securely closed. THE THING IS BRAND NEW!! Upon thinking about it, it also has no lip to stop food or a plate from sliding off the top. Nope. Not I would not buy again.
