Cleverly simple!AnonymousLightweight, simple, easy to use5
GARBAGECarlyBought two of these, as soon as I opened them for the first thin the legs snapped on them. Do not waste your money on this garbage. I’ve been an IKEA fan for years, most of my house furniture is from here and the quality has gone WAY DOWN and the prices WAY UP. $15 each for plastic garbage. IKEA will never be what it was.1
very flimsyHwayoungI bought a white bed tray from IKEA, but it broke twice. First, the support holding the legs when folded snapped. Then, my 4-year-old son accidentally broke a leg while trying to set it up—it came off way too easily. The design feels flimsy and poorly made. I replaced it with a black one at my son’s request, but it also broke; the legs came loose and snapped again. It’s usable if you’re careful, but it’s unreliable. I’m planning to buy a wooden tray next, which is $20 more expensive than the plastic ones, hoping it’s sturdier and won’t break like these.2
Terrible product AdmoreThis product is easily one of the worst items I purchased at IKEA. The tabs broke less than 2 to 3 weeks. The surface easily scratch. IKEA customer service even with the low quality product would not accept a return after about 2 to 3 weeks. Do not buy this item.1
Tabs Break EaslyRobertThe tabs on both sides of the folding legs are easily breakable.1
Great til it’s not NatashaI bought one, and it broke. returned and got another and this one has now broke also. both times one of the parts for the legs folding out has sheered off despite me being gentle to open and close it.1
Decent purchase CollinGets the job done for a comfortable dinner in bed. Or using it for a laptop while studying/watching movies. But why is the tray so difficult to collapse? You have to pull very hard to fold it. Other than that and being $3 more expensive than the competition, it's a good product. Especially when you cannot consider spending more than $15 for something like this. 4
TrayJordanLarge and sturdy. Easy to wipe clean. 5
Quite Handy CrystalI was little worried it was going to be flimsy but it’s quite handy and useful. I use it quite often for my laptop too. 5
NOPENicolleThe tray was super high for my elderly pt in bed. Needed to be 2-3 inches lower. I decided to keep it for myself but when closing it, a piece snapped off. It was the piece in back that keeps the legs securely closed. THE THING IS BRAND NEW!! Upon thinking about it, it also has no lip to stop food or a plate from sliding off the top. Nope. Not I would not buy again. 2
Laptop tableAnonymousThe price is right and very useful for me.5
Handy!WendyGreat lap table for earing or small crafts. I use it when I'm on the couch but could also be used for bed or anywhere. 5
Great for reading!BrianI use this for reading. Keeps the book close for easy reading. Would be great for eating in bed or on a couch5
Convenient and great priceLuzI use it for dinner or doing my painting by number.5
Love the trayAnonymous reviewerWe replaced one that was broken, but the legs on this one does not stay close, when folded up. 3
Perfect for comfy, flexible work!MeghanThis table is the perfect height for reclining in bed and working on my laptop. I can even sit cross-legged underneath it (and I'm not a tiny person). Love the foldable legs and how they click into place for storage purposes. Also handy for the couch! The sturdy and taller sides help my cups stay up and there's enough room for my essentials, and I like the cord/pencil slot at the top that can also hold up my phone or a reader. 5
Cheap plasticSamuelLike I knew it wasn’t going to be as sturdy as the wood option that they had but this one broke on initial setup. And it broke due to the cheap plastic unfortunately 1
Nice product ChantalGreat and sturdy product -- good price 5
It breaks easily ShannonBroke within my second use. It was a great idea but terrible design. 2
Love these, but you have to be careful with them!BonnieI love this lap desk and have been using them for 4 years. But wish they were a little stronger...I've had to replace mine 3 times now because the legs crack easy. 4
