Product Has ChangedRachelThe wooden pegs are no more. So not only is this product more flimsy, it is also more difficult to put together. I have purchased so many Expedit and Kallax products and never had an issue with the structural integrity or quality. Why change a good thing???1

Complete downturn in quality-- no longer wood pegsMarcusThe quality has taken a massive downturn as plastic and light screws have replaced the wooden pegs! This means wood glue can no longer be applied to bare surfaces for added strength. The application i was going to use these for is no longer possible with how structurally weak this new version is. So disappointed. I will have to source used copies of the previous version. :(1

Very adaptable and usefullRobertThese Kallax units are amazingly versatile and adaptable. Ikea sells many options to go with the Kallax, like dividers, drawers and baskets. Convinient mounting holes are already in place so there's no extra drilling needed. They are fairly lightweight, easy to assemble and sturdy5
Better than I possibly could have dreamed!!!MarkThe Kallax shelf and drawer unit that we now have installed in our home is exactly what we both wanted and needed. I had looked into having a cabinet maker produce much the samed thing and found that the price would be in execess of $10,000 and possibly take months to deliver and ionstall. For less than a 7.5% of that-- and several long evening, we assembled exactly what we wanted and needed and would recommend that others do just the same. Our great thanks!!!5
