Good cushion for a good priceAmyI appreciated this alternative to the down filled cushions.5
2/3 filledGretaWow. Underwhelming at best. Lumpy AND limp. The best of both worlds when it comes to cushion inserts. Love how overpriced they are too.1
FlatNaomiThese are flat and not firm. They used to be better and filled more. 1
He is limpGraceWhen you put it in the pillowcase it just makes you sad to look at. He is so thin and limp. Had to put two inserts in one pillowcase to make him sit up. That worked pretty well but now I have only one filled pillow!1
Opposite problem - overstuffed!SarahBoth Inners we bought last week are overstuffed, and the fabric more plastic-y, compared to our old ones.
We washed according to directions, and they literally will not dry. Total dryer time 4.5 hours each (half together, half separate), plus more time propped in front of fans.
It has been 24 hours, and if you squeeze them, they are still damp in the middle. At this point a health risk for mold/mildew, so will return.
Did IKEA read all the bad reviews for the new under-stuffed Inners, and decide to just double-stuff the new ones, without regard for appropriate fabric and filling material?1
not firmJohnlimp. thought it would puff out more but didn’t.1
A lot left to be desiredMichaelWay different than what is displayed in store. Store display was fluffy. Product at home, once removed from package, was flat and would not expand. Ran in dryer with a few tennis balls to see if it would expand. It does not. Now looking for a goose down 50/50 down/feather blend insert for the cover.2
Flat!ElizabethIf you’re looking for something limp and flat, this is the perfect choice! Wishing I bought two for each cover so they would have some firmness to them. 2
Beyond FlatDaltonWas incredibly lumpy and honestly the same thickness as a couple cotton balls. Spend the couple more dollars and get the feather one. This was beyond useless as a pillow insert.1
Horrible - Flat - DO NOT BUYElizabethThese are not firm, they’re flat. When you put them in the pillow cover, the cover is too big. It looks horrible. If you want it to look like the picture, you have to put two pillows in the case. I can’t believe IKEA would sell such subpar quality. These are the worst pillows ever!1

It wants to be moreBryanThese are ok. Just wish they were fluffier to fill the shams better. They are a bit flat even after fluffing as instructed3
HORRIBLE DO NOT BUY!AdrianaBeyond disappointed with IKEA. The cushions are not the same quality as the similar ones I purchased three years ago. They’ve clearly changed the product, and the difference is noticeable. Unfortunately, I’ll be returning everything.1
HorribleMaryZero padding. In store it was ok but absolutely zero padding when I opened at home. A waste of money1
Clumpy Not FullJodyVery disappointed. Pillow insert felt like it was from the dollar store. Clumpy and flat. You get what you pay for. Returned.2
Received wrong itemEvaBased on the website they don’t even have the size they sent me which was 18x18 when I ordered a 20x20 insert1
DisappointedHeatherI am disappointed in IKEA. I have been buying these inner cushions for years and within the past year or so the quality has gone downhill and the price has more than doubled. The pillow does not fill like it used to and it is sad looking.2
UnderwhelmedSandyThis is anything but a firm pillow. In fact it is rather under filled and definitely smushy.2
No fluffDianaThe pillow is flat. It is not firm nor fluffy.2
Not firm at allVictoriaVery thin and lumpy. Waste of money. Not worth the drive to return either. 1
