Great for small space.KaniI love that these stools were a softer white not a super bright sterile white. Also thought it great that the depth of the stool worked well with the 12 inch overhang on my island and also accommodated the narrow walkway on that side of the island. Price was also great.

Defective paintJackieWe bought these same stools several years ago, and then 4 more recently. We received them last week and it looks like they only received one coat of thin paint. You can see the brown wood through the paint. It doesn’t appear there is any coating on them either. They are very matte. Super disappointed. Customer service said they’d at least send a replacement part for seat, but then e-mailed to say they were not sending anything. Do not buy.

Just what I needed.Catherine MThe stools were what I needed. They were easy enough to assemble. They were just the right height for me.
Couldn't be more disappointedDeanWe were excited that these were the perfect fit for a table and our kitchen island. Within just a few months a majority of the cross-backs were cracked. It's almost a Balsa type wood that's very flimsy. Within a few more months about half of them were completely broken and had fallen apart. We made the mistake of putting in cases 3 months after the 180 day window had expired because I just wasn't paying attention to the time and we didn't know about the strict 180 day window. I spent two and a half hours total on the phone with customer service opening cases only to be denied. They recommend we take them into the local store to be looked at by the manager who looked at it and without batting an eye just said we were out of luck. We have furnished almost our entire house with Ikea goods, but this is been the most disappointing experience. And, on top of all of that, there's multiple reviews here talking about the weak backs ... yet they said they had no reports of quality issues ...

Great chairs DinaI purchased 3 chairs at my previous home, when I sold my home new owners asked if I’d leave them. In my new home I need new ones. Easy to put together. I’m in my 70’s and put them together in11/2 hours. Sturdy chairs. I have a very active 11 year old grandson and older ones to a lot of of beating. They maintained their color and didn’t fall apart.

Disappointing QualitySethI have a set of 4 kitchen chairs that match this Bar Stool. Ordered this to see if it does match the original chairs. When assembling, I discovered that (1) the legs are not level and that (2) when doing the final step of adding the seat to the base, I discovered that the holes are not drilled correctly to align with the base.
Otherwise this would've been a good purchase. But given that I can't attach the seat to the base making the product unusable, can't rate it well.

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 34-36" from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 23-26". Tabletops or counters that measure between 39-42" from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 28-30".
