However, this was on sale when I bought it, and it has been surprisingly sturdy for the small price tag (under $30). They do require a seat pad, though, unless hard seats do not bother your seat ;)3

Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 34-36" from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 23-26". Tabletops or counters that measure between 39-42" from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 28-30".
