This 4-seat table can easily be extended into a 6-seat table using the included self-storing leaf.

The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table from 4 to 6 and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.

Legs and underframe are made of sturdy, solid hardwood.

The clear-lacquered surface is easy to wipe clean.

You sit comfortably thanks to the high back.

Cute table but chairs break within 2 weeksAnonymous reviewerThis set is cute and reasonably priced but otherwise disappointing. 3 out of the 4 chairs have broken in less than 3 weeks. The back just snaps. We are not heavy people and do not throw the chairs around. IKEA replaced one of the chairs, sent backs for the other two… but they will just break again. They say, no refund, because there is no warranty. Buyer beware. 1

Pretty table butAnnetteIt’s a pretty table but, you can’t leave your cup on the table without it damaging the table. For example you have iced water and the cup sweats, the condensation drips and sits on the table, then you have a swollen ring on your table that never goes away.2

Chair reviewTerryBought the set 2 years ago and was fine with everything until I had to wash the seat covers. Followed directions precisely, as a matter of fact I washed in cold versus warm, air dried, yet the covers shrunk significantly and apparently you can't purchase replacements. Now what do I do? Not a bad purchase unless you decide that a fabric dining room chair with a " washable" cover needs washed; then, well, good luck.2

Good but NOT the old qualitySharonHonestly, the products at IKEA are not the quality they used to be. This is a very nice table, but, the finish is not consistent on the table top. I keep a runner on it and will use a full tablecloth when I have company. The chairs are alright but not like the same quality of the exact chairs I bought in 2015. There are gaps and I had to get pads to level the legs. If you want cheap and easy to put together and a product when you are in a pinch to have a table and chairs, then go for it. Again, not the quality as we were used to from IKEA. Now a real horror story is the 8-drawer dresser!!4
