0-3 settings are unknownThuy0 is supposed to be parallel to the blade and is the setting the mandolin should be stored at for safety. I didn’t measure all of the settings but I can tell you that the 3 setting or the “thick” setting is about 1/8 inch. I measured it roughly against a bench scraper I have that has a ruler on it. I tested it slicing an Idaho potato, for reference.
Adjustment needs attentionCarolNice, small slicer, but you have to literally go behind the blade to adjust the width of the slice. If you're not careful, you can cut your finger doing this.
AmazingKarlWe've been wanting a mandoline and this one is not only cost effective, but super functional and easy to use. Great item that we've now incorporated into regular use in the kitchen.

Does not workAnonymousThere are no instructions on how to adjust the 3 different slices. I can't get this to work at all. Waist of money.
where are the inches or cm?BonnieIt is sharp, ez to use with special glove or included 'handle' but no where can I find the equivalent of 1,2,3. How many inches. I have a recipe that calls for slicing 1/8 inch and with this mandoline, I have no idea. It's not on the packaging, it's not on the website. Very frustrating.
Not bad.PaulNot bad but not great either. I've never used one before so I can't say definitively. It works really well with onions, slices thin. Tomatoes come out a little too thin for me almost in a shredded mushy pile what with all the juice. For the onions alone I would buy again, thanks.
