Squeaky bed and scratched headboard!MeharThe headboard had a big scratch on it. Furthermore, the slats don't completely fit in the frame. Due to the gap, there is always a squeaky sound whenever you move. Given the effort it took to put the bed frame, returning it is always a hassle!!

Save your moneySThis bed was a total pain to put together. The dowels didn't match up with some of the holes, and some of the dowels broke. The headboard separated from the post within 3 months of purchase. It looks nice but the materials were cheap which made the bed unstable.
Poor DesignAnonymousWe bought this bed frame (King) about 2.5 years ago. After about a year the front leg started separating from the rest of the frame. Turns out this piece is only held together by dowels and wood glue and not very well. The whole leg just about feel off; thankfully not while we were sleeping. We had a friend help us glue it back together but ultimately it's a pretty poor design that doesn't seem to hold up. We are now looking to replace the bed frame and as much as I love the look of it I would not by another of this model.

ReturnedVanessaThis is the first thing I've ever returned to Ikea due to poor quality. We have a 20 year old MALM bed that is a tank -- it's been disassembled and reassembled countless times and is perfect. This couldn't be further from that quality. It was easy enough to put together but definitely requires 2 people. The frame itself is very stable but the wood is very, very soft and dents with normal pressure, like gently leaning pieces against a wall while you're building. But the real deal breaker was how ungodly loud this is due to the slats -- this is a common complaint but I was hoping it was user error by folks. It's not. The slats are so loud it was like a joke. We spent a full day trying to troubleshoot this squeaking by adding padding, felt, wrapping the slats in different types of tape, etc. -- they were always unbearably squeaky due to their arch shape depressing and them rubbing against the support rails. I would not recommend.

Great bed, but what a pain to put together LauraThis bed is absolutely beautiful and holds our mattress perfectly. I swear though each IKEA project becomes just that, a huge project. Some of the slats didn’t fit right and we had to pound them in with a mallet to secure. It’s almost like there is a malfunction when the machine cuts the parts or something. Other than the assembly the price is great and the product is beautiful

Wow! Sturdy, beautiful, really well made!IndiaI got this bed frame as an immediate replacement for another store's bed frame that had broken. My partner and I weigh 400 lb combined and are active-moving sleepers. We got the enhanced weight underlayment slats as well and sleep on a firm foam mattress. This bed does not make noise, does not wiggle or wobble when getting in and out. It is stable as though made of Rock. It is quite beautiful, the finish feels really nice if you happen to touch the frame, like when you're making the bed or hanging a charging cord over the headboard.
