Natural wood needs your care. Long and intense use without maintenance may cause the product to lose its smooth surface. To extend the life of the product, we recommend that you rub it with food-approved oil once per month.

Good rice paddle but cheapYvetteThe wood is not cheap as walnut is a good hardwood, so this is a value there. But, the handle is lacking and flat, like a plank from the hardware store. I like that the paddle part is on the flat side, though, because that means less rice sticking to carved out parts, and it's easier to scrape the rice off of the paddle with a spatula or something like that. I like the way this rice paddle looks, though, with the richness of the walnut. I do recommend it, but I would also say the design could have been better.5
