Product details

The fabric gives very good protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 25+, which means it blocks 96% of the ultraviolet radiation.

The parasol pole is made of aluminium, a material that doesn’t rust.

The canopy is easy to keep clean and fresh, just remove and machine-wash it.

Open and close the parasol by pulling the handle up or down. The parasol automatically locks in the open position.

The air vent reduces wind pressure and allows heat to circulate.

The hook-and-loop strap keeps the fabric in place when folded.

The best way to extend the life of your umbrella is by cleaning it regularly, protecting it with a cover whenever not in use and storing it in a cool, dry place indoors when the season is over.

Don't Waste Your Money, i.e. There's a Reason These Are So CheapMarkThe slightest bit of wind send it toppling (in an approved stand!) and will break multiple arms off. It's held together with WIRE and the wire breaks. This is the second one I've bought in two months. Never again.1
Disappointing, unless you're over 6'AlisonI loved the look of this umbrella, and that you could wash the cover was great! But, as a 5'6" person, it was impossible for me to open or even close it which just wasn't safe. Even my husband who is 6'4" found it challenging. If you are over 6 foot tall and strong, it would be OK. I am very disappointed that Ikea had such a rotten design, disappointed and quite frankly shocked as it's the only time we have ever had a problem with an Ikea product. :(1
