HUGE price increase!ChristineWhat the heck happened to the price? I was going to buy this a few weeks ago when it was one sale for $149 but of course, it was out of stock. The regular price was $199. Now it's back in stock and the price is $349????!!!!! No thanks!

Very Flimsy To Put TogetherCarlyI don’t know if we just got a bad group but this was so hard to put together, the nails are so flimsy and holes don’t line up correctly. Overall an incredibly stressful and hard experience to put together compared to what I expect from IKEA. Would not recommend, finished product looks nice but also unsure how long it will last because of how flimsy the materials were.
Sturdy and true to colorBenI am not a handy man by any sorts but I thought this TV stand was relatively easy to put together. Some difficult parts but it was a fun project with my significant other. The end product is very sturdy and looks great. If I can complain one draw sticks a bit but not excessively and the bottom of the draws are flimsy but there really is no need for them to be solid.
Bows Out + Flimsy DrawersKatieHad this tv stand for a year (2024 purchase) and all I can say is that the wood is soft. It looks nice but since the wood is so soft, when you're screwing into the boards, sometimes the boards splits. Had to drive to IKEA for some replacements b/c the drawer fronts split from handscrewing in the long supports and one of the boards was missing a predrilled hole. The design of the drawers are messed up b/c the middle drawer always gets stuck (already moved around the drawers to see which one might be the smallest one to go into the middle slot). Got rail replacements and it slides out slightly better but the drawer still gets stuck halfway sometimes. After a few months, the middle started bowing when the tv was under the weight limit so I placed 2 metal supports from a 2013 LACK tv stand in the middle. Stopped bowing due to the middle supports. Drawer bottoms are quite flimsy and thin so you can't put anything heavy in. Looks great in the room though.
Looks good, Pain to put together AprilI was very excited to get this tv console. I loved the way it looked. Delivery was great. It was awful to put together. Many of the holes were drilled incorrectly. There are these plastic screw/nail things that would not go all the way through the hole (why not just use regular screws?) We finally figured out if you hammer them halfway in with them laying down on the thick cardboard pieces it works better. Drawer bottoms do not feel too sturdy. The top and drawer faces had some scratches on them, which is disappointing. I was thinking about getting two bookcases that match to end-cap them but now I’m rethinking that decision with how this experience went. I have bought many pieces of IKEA furniture in the past and put many together. This was by far the most frustrating.

Good overallTimothyGood quality wood - solid and attractive. This made an e good centerpiece for our new entertainment center. it was not difficult to put together. My only complaints are that the base of the drawers is pretty low quality--you shouldn't put anything heavy in these drawers. Also,one of the drawers does not line up correctly, so that there is a little gap between the front of the drawer and the frame. But overall, it is a keeper.
Bought it twice SheilaWe love this low unit for large screen tvs. The shelves and drawers give plenty of space for accessories and magazines. Loved it so much, we bought one as a gift for my daughters home.
Hemmes TV standLindaDisappointed . I bought this for the knotty pine top with white . I have the all white one. This one is a foot and a half shorter then measurments given. The top doesnt look like the picture. Disappointed in this tv stand .
Really cute but ChantealReally cute, sturdy. However, in usual ikea fashion it was really difficult to put together. Some of the premade holes didn’t line up correctly and we ended up having to take parts apart over and over to try and figure out where we could have went wrong. We ended up just drilling our own holes instead, which wasn’t ideal. It did work though and all came together at the end.
Not easy to put together LanaI am a huge IKEA supporter and many items in my house are from ikea. However this tv stand was not easy to put together. I took nearly 3 hours, two people and lots of frustration. Opt for a different stand.

Cheaply made Anonymous reviewerThis is the first piece of ikea furniture that we are not impressed with. The manufacturing process was not good, screw holes not lined up and also wood that splintered when screwed into. One of the shelves has an imperfection right in the front where visible. I would not recommend this product at all. Wish I could share photos here because it's not great.

Like the product but 2 of 3 drawers won't openRichardI like the Hemnes line and this TV stand BUT two of the three drawers get stuck in their tracks. I always carefully follow the instructions and reviewed them on this and I'm confident I put it together correctly. Not sure what the issue is. If not for this issue, I'd recommend it highly.
Unit bends in middleMichaelUnit was difficult to put together and I have done many IKEA builds. After getting it together, unit seemed sturdy and placed our 40lb (far under weight limit listed) tv on top of unit. After 7 months of use, unit is sagging in middle. Do not recommend! This is our 5th Hemnes purchase and the first one that I do not recommend. Be aware!

damaged woodZijieThe wood is broken at multiple places and at the cracks there are these blue colorings which are very obvious and make the entire thing look bad
Not greatLindaI have been buying Ikea furniture for about 30 years. I have assembled many pieces, most by myself. This was the worst experience I've had with their furniture. Bolts made out of plastic? Other pieces that snapped when you tried to tighten them? Seriously, Ikea?
