Looks nice but not sturdyEricThis is my 2nd ikea bed frame and while aesthetics are nice, it isn't as sturdy as my first bed frame (queen) Malm. We bought this frame in 2016. One of the side planks at the bottom separates since the hardware no longer keeps it secured. Looking to fix it to provide support to secure in place. Looking into keeping it and buying some drawers for storage.

Not suitable for bed with adjustable baseJenIt’s a great looking bed frame, but the footboard does not work if you have any type of adjustable bed platform. The headboard also arrived to us somewhat defective—when assembled, it was noticeably crooked. We love IKEA bed frames, but this particular frame just did not suit our needs. Great customer service on the phone, we were told that a return is possible, even though it had already been assembled and the box was discarded.
Not GoodMarcoThis bed looks great aesthetically. But I don’t feel secure in it. Doesn’t feel 100 percent stable for what it’s supposed to be. You are also forced to buy a separate bed base for the mattress support which is so inconsiderate considering there is no way you could sleep in the bed without the base. I would never buy again or recommend.

Easy to put together for one personTatyanaI've had the bed for almost a year and I love it.
pros I'm able to adjust how high the mattress goes. The frame Itself is low enough to the ground for the toddler and my dog to climb up onto the bed. I thought getting the Luroy would not support my mattress because it is an old fashion rubber Tempur-pedic but the Luroy slates have stayed strong. The best part is that the bed comes in specific parts so I can do a custom color style change. I have not gotten to rearranging my room yet but when it happens I give more details of movability. As the last thing, I was able to put the bed together by myself with no problems.
Bed frame reviewAmandaBed frame is nice. The drawers underneath could use some support. The dowels when installed can easily be pushed through the main frame. We ended up using black duct tape to cover the hole. We were not trying to “strong arm” the dowels…just be aware.
Just right for meWayneWas moving and wanted a new bed. I was with my sister when she bought this for her guest room. It always stuck in my mind as an option. Living in a small apartment, this bed provided the under-bed storage option. Would like to see some sort of handles/knobs for the drawers to make it easier to open them. The bed itself is compact and doesn't take up unnecessary space when you have limited space.
