Scratch off quality of paintSimoneHave been putting IKEA cabinets together for over 20 years and this front is the first that has gotten scratched off in almost every single door and front!! Paint is so thin you could take a coin and scratch it off!!
Needs better QCKristinColor is great. IKEA system is great when they pay attention -- I wasted over an hour struggling to figure out why this drawer front would not go into the the maximera drawer. The sticker was placed on the wrong side of the back, which is used as orientation for which holes to use. I had to open another front and measure the distance to figure out IKEA's error. For a system that asks so much attention to detail from its customers we should expect the same from their production.

Cool Havstorp BiegeNeilThe color is a greyish biege. It’s a nice option to plain grey which is getting kinda old. And not as vanilla as white or as bold as blue and greens. The color changes with sunlight to more of a putty earth tone and picks up rose tones at sunset.
Quality of finish and product is excellent. Easy to work with. The price is also great.

Flavia Melesi, who is a product developer, says that the team usually begin by looking at what is happening in the world around them. “It’s not the fast trends that influence the palette on kitchen doors and drawer fronts, but more slow movements. We want to find colors you can live with for a long time – regardless if your home is big, small, modern or traditional.”
