This cover is made of dope dyed GUNNARED fabric in polyester. It is a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned mélange effect.

Does not changed coversTaliDon't be fooled - zippers there only for estetic. you cannot change cover. Also after 2years zipper unziped itself reveal yelow polystirol. Chair is beatiful and partialy 'eronomic'. Little bit To be real ergonomic need higher and ajustible backrest. Also little bit tricky designed wheels - they're wheelee only when you seating on chair. When you send up they not rotated.
Excellent Office Chair but PriceyGilbertMy daughter bought this chair to work from home. It's relatively easy to set up and it's very comfortable. My only complaint is that it was very pricey. However, if it lasts a long time, it will be worth the price.
Exceptionally high quality in the black leatherRebeccaSome of the more recent reviews did leave me a little concerned but I took the risk and ordered this chair in the black leather sight unseen. The first thing I noticed when unboxing was that it was very carefully packaged, better than anything else I’ve gotten from IKEA. When pulling all of the parts out I realized almost everything but the arms is metal…very little plastic. It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to unbox, unwrap and assemble. I am super happy that it’s fully and easily adjustable. The leather is very thick with a grain that I’m not afraid to damage and it should break in nicely. So glad I made this purchase! The only alteration I think I’ll make is adding rollerblade wheels haha

The white and orange/red adds flair to my decor. Never stop carrying this task chair, it's perfect! I do want to add that I would love to have the ability to order replacement upholstery/covers for it. Unfortunately my cats LOVE this chair too!
Back to far forward AllisonI didn’t buy this but I went and sat in it in the showroom and I agree about the weirdness of the back pushing you forward. Too bad the rest of the chair is nice.
easy, functional chairAutumnI got this chair for my home office. I don't sit at my desk for ling periods but this chair is very comfortable and does't take up too much space
Back tilt not adjustableJuanThe back of the chair is always tilted towards the front (not adjustable) and gives when you lean back on it. This makes it quite uncomfortable.
Brain-dead castersAlexComfort is up to the user. Personally, I find this chair’s seat bottom too hard.
But one thing isn’t debatable: the casters are brain dead. They’re designed to lock when you stand up so the chair doesn’t roll away. OK…but what about when you want to reposition the chair on the floor or carpet? Or when you want to tuck it in under a standing desk?
In that case, you are pulling the chair against friction, which can dig channels in the carpeting for example.
Plus, the seat bottom fabric comes out of the box not properly stretched across the seat bottom core. Your tush only adds wrinkles over time.
Spend your $375 plus tax elsewhere.
Amazingly comfortable DNext best thing to standing
Not the same as previously purchased chairAnnieThe angle of the back is wrong and there is no way to adjust it. It pushes me forward. If I adjust the seat to counteract that, I can't use the lumbar support. I purchased the same chair in 2020 and it does not have this issue. The back angle is perfect and it doesn't push me forward. Payed the exorbitant fee to ship this because I "knew" it would work since I already have the same chair. Obviously, I was wrong. Very disappointed.
Comfortable & AdjustableJordanBought this in the gunnared option after sitting on every chair in the showroom. It's a bit firm, but not excessively. I work from home often and prefer a bit of firmness and a LOT of lumbar support while I'm seated for long hours. A little expensive but it's very adjustable.
- There is a decent height adjustment for people with longer legs.
- You don't need to put the arms on if you don't want to.
- Backrest can be raised to 5 different locks just by lightly tugging upwards, before resetting to the base height.
- The seat can be adjusted forward and backward so you can easily find a sweet spot where the back support feels good.
- The fabric pieces on the back rest and seat can be removed via zipper if you feel the need to throw in the wash. (You do have to unscrew pieces of the chair to get to the zippers. A bit of work but doable.)
- The seat padding is zippered in an easy access flap. If you ever feel the seat gets flat, I imagine it'd be easy enough to get extra foam to replace.

Uncomfortable after long hoursBrandonI purchased the leather version and it gets pretty uncomfortable after a while. And also not very breathable. Both despite what the description says. I was hoping it'd be better with more padding. Also the seam on the seat is in a terrible spot, not sure what they were thinking when designing that...
