    Beautiful and comfortable, but defective model. Returned twice!MartinI really wanted to love this chair. Honestly, when it is actually working, I absolutely love it. However, I have now had to return this chair for the exact same reason twice—and the second unit only lasted two weeks! The automatic weight-activated recline mechanism is highly unreliable and incredibly poor. On both units I owned, the backrest completely locked up in a rigid upright position after a short period of use and refused to recline ever again. I tried every troubleshooting method available but the internal mechanism completely jammed both times. If you happen to get a unit with a flawless mechanism, it’s easily a 5-star chair. But given that this is the second time I've had to disassemble, pack up, and haul a chair back to the store for the exact same mechanical failure, there is a clear quality control issue here. For a $400 chair, this shouldn't be happening. I am really disappointed that I have to go look for a different chair now.1

    Not the same as previously purchased chairAnnieThe angle of the back is wrong and there is no way to adjust it. It pushes me forward. If I adjust the seat to counteract that, I can't use the lumbar support. I purchased the same chair in 2020 and it does not have this issue. The back angle is perfect and it doesn't push me forward. Payed the exorbitant fee to ship this because I "knew" it would work since I already have the same chair. Obviously, I was wrong. Very disappointed.1

    I really love this chair, which I bought to use with an Ikea desk. Adjusting height of seat and arms, plus being able to slide arms forward is excellent - as is ability to alter position of the back. It seemed quite expensive but is well worth it
