Stunning and uses very little energy.LindaI purchased a few extra led lights just in case, but it's not likely that I will ever need them. This fixture is stunning. If you visit the display in store, you can see the strength of the light, which is just right for over the dinner table, but not enough for doing detail work there. If I am doing something that requires more light, I have a strong floor lamp nearby. Also, it doesn't work with a dimmer. I found it extremely easy to install and no globes have fallen off. Based on the reviews, I would not purchase this if you have active children. I was surprised it made such a wonderful difference in my home.
Useless without replacment bulbsAnonymous reviewerI love this light so much but one of my kids knocked off one of the bulbs and now the fixture will have to be replaced because ikea does not sell replacement bulbs. PLEASE stock the bulbs as a part that can be replaced.
Too dark and can't work with other bulbsSiyuI bought this last week, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a standard bright light. However, if you prefer dimmer lighting, it might be suitable. I purchased several bulbs of the same size and voltage from Amazon, but none of them worked with this fixture. It seems the only compatible replacement bulbs are from IKEA, priced at $2.99 each, and they're listed as a 'last chance' item. Unfortunately, each bulb had scratches, and when I contacted IKEA's service team, they informed me that this is normal.
LOVE THE LAMP, SELL REPLACEMENT BULBS AS A PARTS NickThis fixture is awesome. The look is great and it puts out a lot of light. However dusting this thing is not your friend and I regularly find myself accidentally knocking off the globes. Called IKEA customer service and there are no replacement parts… however I got lucky and found a Christmas ornament set at Hobby Lobby that fit to replace the one I broke.
Replacement GlobeBrendaI am like the hundreds of customers who commented had a bulb break without even touching it!!!!! Why can't i Get a replacement globe. Maybe one of the other customers can sell me one from their trashed fixture. Ikea! Help us!
Trash without replacement glass globesJonathanI just purchased a new home in which this was installed. Like many people here, one of the glass globes fell off and shattered while I was dusting the fixture, and there are no replacement parts available. This fixture will be contributing to landfill waste. Great job, IKEA!
Looks great, the glass bulbs are not so greatJenniferI too had a bulb fall off and shatter moments after a fussy install. The light itself is beautiful and modern, which I love. The missing bulb upsets me. I’d really like a replacement glass bulb, but I fear it won’t stay on correctly. I think I might add some dots of glue to keep the others on. Ikea, help!
Pretty but dull and fragile!Anonymous reviewerIt's a beautifully chandelier but! As soon as we finished installing it to the ceiling and put the bulbs on, we noticed they are all scratched. Though you can't see the scratches from far, we let it be since we didn't want to take the whole thing uninstall. Soon after that one of the bulbs shuttered. We don't want to return it because it's a lot of work installing and uninstalling on a 12 ft ceiling. Would love to find a replacement for the bulbs.
Looks great, breaks easilyKellyI just installed this fixture and already one of the glass bulbs has fallen off and shattered. It looked great before this happened. I wouldn’t recommend buying this simply because the glass bulbs are not secure.
Great look but a major design flawTeresaI had this fixture installed over a dining table. It's an attractive piece but as other reviewers have stated the glass globes are not held securely. A few days after installation the globe that hangs from the arm facing down slipped off and shattered. There is no way to get replacement globes. Please IKEA, fix this design flaw, make the globes unbreakable, or offer spare parts! I hate to have to throw out a $180 chandelier after only a few days!
BULBS FALL AND SHATTEREmilyWow. Do NOT buy this. We made sure every glass orb was fully pushed onto the fixture and a few hours after installing, one fell off shattered broken glass all over the table, my laptop, and MY CAT who was sitting on the table. When installing the orbs, some are much looser than others but not enough to be faulty. IKEA SHOULD NOT BE SELLING THIS. This should be recalled. However pretty and cheap, DO NOT BUY.

Be very Carful - Globes can fall offHansJust finished hanging this light. Most of the globes seemed to go over the spring retainer and hold firmly. I noticed 2 of them seemed quite loose, while cleaning the fixture immediately after installation one the globes on the long arm fell off as I tilted the fixture. as I was cleaning up, the globe at the bottom center crashed down. Not sure about replacements but this may be going back.
Beautiful Chandelier, Awful Set UpSamI love the looks of this hanging light so much. It really brings the room together. Installment is super challenging since the metal part of the light that connects to the ceiling is smaller than the top plastic frame. Only a tiny screw of plastic is holding it in place from the ceiling, not sure how long it’ll hold since the weight of the light is fairly heavy compared to its counter-parts. Chord is way too long and length adjustment its extremely difficult. Love the visual, hate the physical installment. Should be better quality for the price point.

Almost perfect!FrankOk - so, lighting fixtures can be expensive. I really like that this chandelier has a sassy flair without being a zillion dollars. It was EASY to assemble and install (even if you're nervous about electrical stuff) and it look wonderful. The two negatives for me are:
ONE - you can't dim the lights included with the fixture, which would be fine EXCEPT…
TWO - the sockets seem to be proprietary, so dimmable LEDs sold elsewhere WON'T fit in the sockets.
Ikea - please sell dimmable LEDs that fit this fixture. Thanks!

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
