HorribleJasmineQuality is not good at all second time buying in less than a year1
It works YaninaThis was for my day bed / spare room and it’s good but when my daughter sleeps on it it does move around a lot it’s not on a rug it’s on hardwood floors so it’s kinda annoying.4
It was more work than I planned.JaneConfusing as to what went where exactly. More holes than parts. Extra parts not shown in instructions. It’s together. Remains to be seen for how long. Sturdy enough..3
Shakes apart from normal useCalebI would leave negative stars if I could. This bed gets wobbly and requires frequent retightening. After buying slats and a mattress I would say you are better off getting something else. I would rather sleep on a mattress on the floor.1
Worst!SuzanI bought this for my son. It is so wiggly. We had to tighten the screws twice. Nothing worked. It is wobbly. Horrible.1
GreaT for the price MarthaPerfect fit for a minimalist ! 5
Not for meKarenI bought this two years ago. Ultimately it wiggles /does not feel solid. I’ve tightened all the little bolts and it doesn’t change. In addition hard Corners-Not my preference. Also, while making the bed, I’ve stubbed my toes on the middle section and it’s quite painful. I need to find a new bed frame.1
TerribleBinafshaDont even purchase it1
Solid, Easy to BuildKimberlyI purchased a twin bed for guests, but I've been sleeping on it to test it out for the last few days. The bed is solid (I'm a med/large woman) and I like the space under the bed. I did not purchase a mattress from Ikea, but the frame is solid and it was pretty easy to put together. I am fairly adept at using my hands, but I'm pretty sure anyone with a little stamina and patience can do it. The trickiest part was getting the slats aligned, but I figured out that you just need to start with them all bunched together before trying to spread them out across the frame. It took about an hour to build. I am not one to rush a build and that helps me get things done right. The directions say to have two people building and I can see how it would definitely help, but I did it alone and I am in my 60s.5
Stupidist design everMarkIn all my years as an IKEA customer, this bed frame has got to be the stupidist, most useless, offensive-to-my-sensibilities piece of furniture ever, bar none. It's a bedframe - how hard is that? Let along the poor engineering that causes holes not to line up and increases 3-fold the construction time. The frame itself is a joke - worse than a joke as you'll see. The top of the frame itself is so shallow, a bed doesn't even remain in place on it. My son slipped off the frame onto the floor, on the bed, in the middle of the night. Then there's this stupid raised bar at the top of the bed, which serves no purpose whatsoever - except that my son hit his head on it in the middle of the night and started crying. Whose bright idea was that, IKEA? I'd say this was a bad experiment, except that I'm now WORSE OFF than when I started, because now I have to return this stupid thing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BED!1
Great BedMartinaPleasant, modern design, therefore fits in any interior design style, melts even with all my antique furniture. It was shipped promptly and looks stabile until now5
Bed KathleenA little complicated to assemble. Might’ve been better to include the support with it. 3

A great bed frame for the priceMaryThis bed frame was perfect for my grandchild to use while visiting me.5
My new bedJudeI would have had a much easier time and saved a lot of time if there were printed instructions or large, clear pictures. The lack of clear instructions really made me want to return this bed!3

What is steel?

Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
