It was more work than I planned.JaneConfusing as to what went where exactly. More holes than parts. Extra parts not shown in instructions. It’s together. Remains to be seen for how long. Sturdy enough..3
Worst!SuzanI bought this for my son. It is so wiggly. We had to tighten the screws twice. Nothing worked. It is wobbly. Horrible.1
GreaT for the price MarthaPerfect fit for a minimalist ! 5
Stupidist design everMarkIn all my years as an IKEA customer, this bed frame has got to be the stupidist, most useless, offensive-to-my-sensibilities piece of furniture ever, bar none. It's a bedframe - how hard is that? Let along the poor engineering that causes holes not to line up and increases 3-fold the construction time. The frame itself is a joke - worse than a joke as you'll see. The top of the frame itself is so shallow, a bed doesn't even remain in place on it. My son slipped off the frame onto the floor, on the bed, in the middle of the night. Then there's this stupid raised bar at the top of the bed, which serves no purpose whatsoever - except that my son hit his head on it in the middle of the night and started crying. Whose bright idea was that, IKEA? I'd say this was a bad experiment, except that I'm now WORSE OFF than when I started, because now I have to return this stupid thing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BED!1
TrrAzizeverything was perfect but two spare parts were missing: a bolt and a screwI’m5
Bed frameFenellaFrame is bent. Will need to replace.1
Good support and good buildMarcusI like the fact that it has good middle support. Simplistic design good for the value.4
Very sturdyMayteLove this frame! Very sturdy and was very easy to build!5
Bed is too short for IKEA twin comforterArwenThis bed frame is fine, but it was disappointing to discover that an IKEA twin comforter drags on the ground on both sides because it is so short.3
That’s a pretty basic bed.MahviaThat’s a pretty basic bed. The head board type at the back is just of no use.4
Great bed for grandsonsSusanI bought two to put in the spare room for beds for my grandsons. They love them! Easy to put together as well.5
Budget FriendlyCheriBudget friendly and greatly serves its purpose one star taken for level of difficulty during assembly. The slat stabilizers were a little hard to accurately place and they are definitely needed so that the slats don't move or fall through the frame. Eventually I was able to get them to work properly smooth nights for a wiggly sleeper.4
Grimsbu bed frameDaveGrimsbu is solid & a Great value!5
A Good Buy.CharlieIf your looking for a basic metal bed frame, then this is a good buy.5
Perfect...for me!EdriceI'm a single lady in my 60s and don't need a huge bed. I love the minimalist design of Grimsbu. I was a little intimidated when I saw all the pieces and parts, but it was fairly easy to assemble (alone) and sturdier than expected. Also purchased the Hasvag mattress which I am using with a featherbed topper (already owned), but so far I am pleased with my IKEA bed. Also love the price ($79) for frame and slats. (It needs to be clear in the store that you must purchase both). *****5
Grimsby great bed frameMariaJust us expected and described in site. It was very easy to ensemble.5
GRIMSBU Twin size bed frameMustafaThis twin bed frame is quality and easy to set up. I bought it for my daughter and I recommend it.5
GRIMSBU Twin size bed frameKevinEasy to assemble, works great, and looks great!5
Wooden pallets are dangerousDanaysThe frame is ok but it is very low to the ground. The reason im giving this 1 star is because of the wooden planks that actually hold up the bed. They don’t fit on the Queen bed and when I climb into bed they fall out of place and the bed sinks. It’s dangerous and annoying.1
ExcellentRisIt’s exactly what I was looking for. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase5
