Completed the look of the cabinets JoeLooks nice. Very difficult to assemble the panels 4
Works, but not great. PatrickAfter a really long wait, these were finally available. They do the job, but they aren’t great. The way they mount in is quick and easy. But I don’t know how long they will really last. Especially since you have to bend the metal tabs to secure the sides. When you bend the tabs, the powdercoating breaks off and exposes bare metal. So, being outdoors, they will probably rust and fall apart. 3
Flimsy, fall off easilyAnonymous reviewerPlease obviously look nice with the Grillskar set and help keep it clean, but the doors fall off very easily and the magnets don't hold them shut. Two of six doors on my set fell off the first day with a light wind.2
Great option for outdoor grill tableLisaBought the grill table and used it for several months before purchasing these side panels. Overall it seems to have made the table even more sturdy and it has a much cleaner look. Would purchase again.5
Great product!BarbaraGreat product!5
Great enclosure.ChoyThis was a easy to to install and look great on our outdoor sink.5
Flimsy but fineKerryInitial impression was not favorable but once installed the product works fine. Sides would not hold up to a baseball impact or other forceful impact but they do the job.5
Very difficult to installMelissaThe installation of the panels is a nightmare! Panels bend and dent very easily as well. I love the idea of this, but I wouldn’t put myself through this again.1
Poor design Not Waterproof or sturdyJamesLooking at pictures and reading what other people have said about it, I felt confident to purchase it. When I received it, I realized that it did not go together securely as it used for tabs that you bend up to secure the back panel. The side panels only had two tabs. Nothing secured the bottom of the back panel nor the side panels. I use 75 stainless steel self tapping screws to reinforce and hold together the panels. Simple tabs are not going to hold it together. There was nothing on the side of the panels to hold them against the unit. We have a strong winds in our area, and I knew they would collapse. It’s a shame IKEA did away with the screws as you can see if there were some holes that at one time you must’ve used screws. It is supposed to be waterproof. However, there are many holes that are open and I’m concerned about the seams of the panels. Time will tell I added some caulk on the back panels. Just to fill large gaps
Leaks and now door fell off in wind
Will be returning1
Does the jobKyleSeems overpriced and assembly a little wonky but once it’s together no reason to doubt that it works as intended.5
Grillskar Door & Side UnitsJillGreat value for an outdoor kitchen, however, the doors do not fully align or close properly. I glued strong magnets onto the door tabs and this seemed to help.4
Good buySophiaThese were so hard to get, always out of stock. We needed 3 of these for our outdoor kitchen. So glad we finally got these. We really like the look with the covers.5
Great and easy to installAnneGreat and easy to install but a little high in price for just doors especially since the unit it goes on it’s very reasonably priced3
Outdoor kitchenJenniferThis fits precisely with my grill to give the look of an outdoor kitchen. The quality is fantastic, heavy and sturdy.5
