Cool comforterDoreenLove this item. I'm always warm at night. So I bought this and use it under my sheets I bought here also. I'm experiencing better sleeping. It's cooler than just sleeping on sheets.5
good duvetDinyI like this one a lot. Definitely is cool, as in temperature.5
Duvet InsertTiffanyThe material is slippery the duvet insert slides around in the duvet cover. I bought 2 of them and will probably return them they dont npt work for me.1
Duvet insertMihaiToo light, doesn’t work at all with duvet without straps1
ComforterGraceVery good comforter on the summer day5
nice but smallLizThis is a nice product, but it doesn't fill my duvet cover. Loops would be helpful as well.3
Great summer blanketDianaLove this! Very silky to the touch5
Duvet quality is not good, but silky too much. The old one was better than this. It falls out of the bed.IlaIs so silky that it doesn’t stay on the bed so I am a little bit upset. I bought like five and I think I’m going to return it back. The material is not that great either the old ones were better.1
Ripped on the first washRobertThe insert is nice. It helps keep me a lot cooler than the comforter I was using before. Unfortunately, it ripped on the very first wash. I made sure that I followed the wash instructions correctly. I hope this one was a dud, not very impressed with the quality.2
Cool blanket. IreneHesitant at first. Good that I got one.4
Perfect duvet insertSharonCool and light weight 5
Great DuvetAthenaI put this inside a slanhostmal duvet cover. No issues with it sliding around. I live in Texas and it's a little warm for my personal comfort in summer. Would probably be ideal in an environment that drops below 70 at night.5
Summer weight duvetLesliWanted a light duvet for summer and this one is perfect. So light and perfect for warmer months. Great price.5
Slippery HallieIkea's duvets really need a button or something in the corners of their duvets to secure their inserts. My heavier inserts mostly stay in place with some fiddling every once in a while. This insert bunches up every night. 3
PerfectDavidJust right for “Summer“ in the Pacific Northwest. I really like that there aren’t any synthetics, it has a soft texture, is light but still gives warmth.5
light and coolChristinevery hot weather where I live but I like the comfort of a nice duvet like this. It's perfect. 5
slippery, overly light, no substance. put a sheet in a duvet cover insteadNickyou kinda slip around on top of it, and it slips around on top of you, and inside the duvet cover and... I'm beginning to think this thing hasn't been properly designed. it only has stitching one way, when it wouldn't slip around if it had stitches every 20cm or so.
the other duvets say that the stitching makes it more breathable. Great! then just add more stitching AND more material! this entire thing has less polyester in it than an 8 buck "Inner" from the home textile section, and that's kinda sad.
I mean, polyester is sad too.
wool would be much better. I don't care if it would be a hundred bucks, I trust a thin layer of wool to be nice and breathable
at least it's pretty quiet and cool, but honestly at that point get a cotton/viscose sheet for less.2
DisappointingJackieTemperature-wise, this is a great duvet. However, the 'silky lyocell fabric' causes it to slide around within the cover, causing it to bunch up inside.3
Slippery and cheap, but cool, no tieing method.NickYou lay on it and you just kinda... go places. I lasted all of one night on it. I sleep on top of my comforter, and i'm an active sleeper. I managed to slip off of it and hit my head. When someone walked in the apartment above me i'd slip side to side- it was disturbingly similar to an actual earthquake. It was cool as described, but only because it's practically just two sheets with a sprinking of fibers between them. Hold it up to the light and you can't see much in there. I don't know what's with companies and duvets, but they are so traditional over functional it hurts my brain. Just put a reinforced button hole through both layers of the cover and the duvet. Then you could tie it together from the outside! Or make like 30 stitches in both directions so it can't roll over itself.2
Great but flawedMPerfect weight for summer in NE USA. But the insert is so slippery it keeps bunching up in the IKEA duvet cover. It's a shame it doesn't have corner fasteners as this is just going to keep happening3
