Held up well for over two years. Convenient! JoyEveryone says the mattress was comfortable for sleeping on, and it is so luxurious as a couch. Whenever I feel like it, I wash and change the sheet, so I never have to worry about spilling something on it. Had it for over two years and very happy with it5
Nice day bed!! LisaI got this day bed and put it in my office room, so when my family comes they can use it. I got the white color, it’s very neat and sturdy. It took me 3hr to assemble by myself. I really love it, highly recommend.5
Solid and attractive day bedEstelleThe day bed is a solid piece of furniture when assembled. I purchased it in white with 2 pocket spring mattresses instead of the skinny foam ones. They sit higher on the frame but are so much more comfortable for sleeping.5
Great daybed for spare bedroomRolandGreat size daybed for smaller spare bedroom, easy to extend and collapse, convenient white neutral color, decent price.4
Love thisHeatherBought it for our spare room for when guests come over to visit from out of state. It’s been used multiple times and very easy to pull out and get back into place. I would suggest adding/considering an additional topper for comfort but we love having this for our family!5
DaybedMarieLarger than expected. Very sturdy. My son really likes it5
So loud! JessicaAvoid! Every move you make is so loud. You can't move or turn over without it squeaking. So annoying. 1
Great guest room option!AlieTook an hour 1/2 to build alone. Honestly the longest part was putting in the slats at the end. I could imagine taking it apart would suck but overall not bad. Super comfortable and doesn’t squeak 4
Adapted easy quickly reduce space AzucenaSimply excellent working for us! 5
Love it!KristinaLove this bed! Very sturdy, and I love the way it pulls open. 5
Dumb and unnecessarily long stepsHelinaI would never buy it again. Not worth the quality or efforts. Designate minimum four hours just to assemble a bed where you can get another bed somewhere else That you can connect much quicker without spending your entire afternoon and evening assembling over 120 pieces. 1
very goodNisrinAll in all very good but can be creaky sometimes 4
Great bed/couch LawrencePerfect for our informal extra room. 5
Easy to pull out and push inSharonWe’re really happy with this bedframe. We had a similar one that was made of wood, and it was very difficult to pull out and push back in when we wanted to switch from a twin size bed to a king. With this one, there are handles to pick up the end, Making it easy. It is also very stable, solid, and well built. 5
Plumber's nightmareJonThis bed frame has to many metal tubes that make up the frame under the mattress. The old metal frame day beds used wood slats and while you had to buy them separately was much easier to assemble. look at the assembly instructions - 2ea, 3ea, 36ea,34ea, 2ea, &1ea metal pipes go under the mattress. Moving the bed to another room, you have disassemble the frame to get the heavy frame out a doorway.1
Great buy! JenniferThe frame was easy to assemble, and looks really nice in our office! 4
Easy to build RafaellaVery practical 5
Great solution for function and comfortAngelaI needed a smaller guest bed for my office/guest room that could also accommodate two people. But I didn’t want an uncomfortable sofa bed. We paired with the Morgedal 7 1/8 inch foam mattress which has been discontinued. Our guests have used both the twin version and the pulled out version and swear it is super comfortable (test out mattresses in the store before you buy, needs to be thin enough to stack but thick enough to be comfortable). The bed had a million pieces to assemble but the finished product is perfect. I get a cute daybed in my office and our guests get to sleep on a real bed. 5
Frame Paint is Scaling Anonymous reviewerI was really excited about this option for a day bed at an affordable price. Knowing the downsides going in I was aware of the mattress slippage issues with something of this design but felt it was something I could work with.
What I was unpleasantly surprised by was the lack of quality on the paint on the frame. Upon assembly, it was now clearly aware that the paint was already scaling (a sore sight for eyes) and prone to chipping.
I wish I had noticed this prior to spending the time putting the furniture together.
The sheer size of the item, and our distance from a physical IKEA store made a return not worth the cost (and disassembly) and have decided to try our best to hide the imperfections.
I recommend reviewing the item in person at the store before opening at home.
There are downsides to be expected with every purchase based on price and brand, but I expect better quality control from IKEA. Lengthy assembly and simplistic materials are something I expect, poor quality is not.3
stiff too firmBarbaraA little disappointed with the matress is not very comfortable will probably have to purchase toppers for it3
