Fits perfectlyGtmomNeeded the extra bed in case of guests. Was easy to assemble.5
great bedLVC20I bought this bed a month ago for my guest bedroom and everyone loves it. I did however put regular twin mattresses on it instead of the thin 4 inch ones that are one it in the store. This makes it to high to use closed up but I leave it pulled out so it doesn't matter.5
Great ProductSharlene BanalesA good and easy to assemble daybed .5
Beyond Awesome!SashaTXI purchased the Fyresdal almost a month ago and I must say that it is one of the BEST beds I have ever purchased! I did extensive research for beds and even purchased another daybed from another vendor because the reviews actually scared me (all the parts etc.) the other bed that I purchased made SOOO much noise whenever I moved that I ended up just tossing it out because I missed the window to return (I only had it a little over a month). I LOVE IKEA and have put together a ton of items but, something about this bed scared me but, I knew I had nothing to loose purchasing from IKEA. I made the purchase and I put the bed together in a few hours. There are a lot of pieces but, it was not that overwhelming...just gather up the like pieces and follow along as you would any of your other IKEA purchases that require assembly. Guys, it was not hard at all and this is coming from someone who was scared of what was written in the reviews. I have not experienced any noise/squeaks. GREAT bed...give it a chance!5
Sturdy, attractive, easy to use.Florida AnnieA very attractive, sturdy and well designed day bed. I have used the pull out feature several times now, and it functions as well as a queen size as it does as a condensed twin. Took WAY longer to assemble than I had anticipated. But, you know, it's IKEA...5
Fits the need!xiomy01Super difficult to put together, too many rods!!4
Solid bedframesandiinstitchesBought this for my sewing room that needed to also serve as a bedroom when my elderly mother visits. Works perfectly5
Wonderful for Teenagerssa71I love this daybed, I needed on more sleeping space when the grandchildren visit. This works great I use it with one mattress as just a twin bed. I got one of IKEA's mattress's and it is so comfortable, filled it with pillows and it is the prefect setting space.5
Great compact Bed!jbwilber628Bought this a month ago and love it. It’s very sturdy and holds 2 people weighing 260Lbs each easily. Expands into a HUGE King size bed roughly!5
Easy setup but heavyRobertBalcomWe purchased the bed for my daughter to take to college. The boxes were about three inches too long to fit into my F-150 long bed and close the tailgate, so we removed everything and transported it separately, which worked okay. There are lots of pieces to this bed. Assembly was fairly easy and straightforward, but it did take a while to complete. The bed seems sturdy enough, and I think that it will work well. My only concern is that when it’s time for my daughter to move out of her apartment it may be difficult to move this large and heavy (about 150 lb) bed.5
Love it!amadeuswThe bed was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. Right now we have it in the living room doing double duty and it looks great and feels great as a couch and a bed. Easily converts to double. I love this daybed!5
Cool BedlinekobOkay so me and my family moved to NYC a couple days ago and when we went shopping for beds another store showed us some ugly beds for $1800, so we thought me and my sister would never find any good beds, but then we went to IKEA and saw this piece and it’s literally perfect for teenagers. The size is great because it’s not too big but if I have friends over I can just pull out the bottom bed and it’s perfect. Also there’s a billion pieces to put together and it took me pretty long to build 2 beds but unlike other frames it already comes with everything you need and it doesn’t require extra supplies like a hammer or something. Sorry for the long review lol but I was just really happy ab the product.5
Space savercfilesI live in a 225 square foot studio and this daybed is perfect. Easy to open. It did take a bit to put it together but it’s sturdy.5

Package size incorrectBradDadGreat so far. But description lists 2 packages of different size. Actual packaging has 2 large (206cm) boxes.5
Not good to buy it.Fati76I bought these past few months ago and it's not safe for kids .the mattress slept and always there is a gap between the two mattress one day my son is food stuck between. So I give it away it's good to use it for one person.1
Looks nice but has issuesBrenda0102My daughter has used this bed for a few months now. It looks great. Unfortunately, we have had issues with the mattress sliding. I have had to zip tie mattress to frame. I also have zip tied the legs for the slide to the other legs because they would move also.3
Cleidy34It's a great bed for a small room and I love that it has a tumble I wasn't expecting that :)5
Very cozy GuestbedRhizomeI bought this a month ago and am still searching for a mattrace. Ikea suggest the thin foam. That is not comfortable. Though if you put two regular matrices on this it makes it too high and looks awkward. I had it put together by Ikea installer.4
Want to make the most of the space at home? FYRESDAL daybed works as a sofa by day and quickly turns it into a double bed by night when the bed base is pulled out. And underneath, there’s plenty of space for storage boxes for extra bed linen.
