Gorgeous design, but seems awfully dim?jimdavis2001Just bought one and had it delivered. I was worried it would feel poor quality or flimsy but it doesn't-- it looks as great as it does in the picture-- I love the simple clean design, and the Luxo-esque bending mechanism feels solid. The one complaint I have is it's about the dimmest desk lamp I have, with the included E12 400 lumens LED bulb, and the lamp says the max you can go is 40 Watts. I'm confused by this, because LED wattage per brightness is so different than conventional bulbs. How bright a bulb is OK to put in this, really? Do they mean 40 W effective brightness or do they really mean a 40 W LED bulb (which would probably be insanely bright-- I think the E12 400 is maybe 12 W-- but it's about as bright as an equivalent 40 W old-style bulb.)4

Does not actually come with bulbSparSamAll the online advertising says it does. Everything in store indicates it's in there. Unpack the box after six hours at IKEA and....no bulb. For added fun, also nothing indicating what non-standard bulb it will take. Looks great. Won't know if it works for a couple more weeks.3
